A great hotel in the middle of the mountains!
Pros:

Restaurant dinner was good and reasonably priced. Mountain location is wonderful, a great stop between the eastern and western Dolomites. I give the service 10 stars! I had a heart "event" and Nick the manager helped me get to a hospital in the middle of the night. The next day, the owner helped my wife and sister get to my hospital over an hour away. I'm back in the US and recovering nicely, but without the extra service provided by this fine hotel, who knows. So, to all the wonderful people at Hotel Al Sasso di Stria...THANKS!!!

Pros:

Genuinely friendly and helpful staff (especially Nick) who went above and beyond to assist us with laundry and travel logistics to our next destination! Tasty food served at restaurant. Great location, comfortable room.

Estadia muito boa
Pros:

Os quartos apesar de serem um pouco antigos, principalmente a casa de banho, estava tudo bastante limpo e era muito confortável. E o melhor de tudo, os funcionários! Dede a recepção até ao restaurante, foram todos de uma simpatia e amabilidade incríveis!

Pros:

Schönes Hotel mit Wahnsinns Bergpanorama. Zimmer neu renoviert, ausser die Bäder. Frühstücksbuffet mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Pizza ist empfehlenswert

Budget stay in the mountains
Pros:

Beautiful location in the mountains and close to hikes. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Could hear noise from adjacent rooms and floors. No fridge in the room. Food in the restaurant was average and there are limited alternative options nearby.

Stunning location
Pros:

Location absolutely stunning, facilities very clean, staff friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Would not take dinner as standard, would have had more choice if just turned up for dinner and chosed from full menu, as opposed to restricted menu as part of full board, also able not to have a 3 course meal each night as well. Food fine, just prefer the flexibility of not having the fixed package.

I'm sure that was probably an option, just did not realise it, or it was not obvious.

Gentilezza e cortesia al ricevimento e da parte di tutto il personale dello staff.
I gestori sono pure simpatici e professionali.
Colazione ottima , i piatti serviti sono raffinati e gustosi .
E' stata un esperienza davvero ottima.
Consigliatissimo !

Il caffè espresso al bar, ma nel complesso è solo un piccolo dettaglio.

Relax, buon cibo e panorami stupendi...
Pros:

Posizione ottima per spostarsi nelle montagne circostanti e nelle realtà vicine. Colazione super fornita. Prodotti di qualità e una vasta offerta tra dolce e salato. Abbiamo fatto la mezza pensione e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti anche dei piatti proposti e della bontà! Ambienti molto puliti e staff disponibile e cortese. Località fuori da tutto ma ideale per rilassarsi e visitare i dintorni.

Cons:

Rivedere l'insonorizzazione delle camere (soprattutto le porte d'ingresso alla stessa), offrire la scelta di cuscini per il letto più bassi.
Io non gradisco i piumoni che solitamente si trovano nelle strutture in montagna perchè molto pesanti e tengono molto caldo, ma questa è una mia opinione personale.

Pros:

Son emplacement à flanc de montagne est tout à fait spectaculaire et très pratique pour toutes nos activités de plain air. L’accès à la « bike room » nous a été très pratique. L’accueil a été chaleureux et très accommodant.

Cons:

La grandeur de la chambre et de la douche, c’était très étroit et il y avait peu de rangement pour notre valise. Nous avions une chambre dans l’établissement secondaire et c’était peu insonorisé. Il n’y avait pas de ventilation dans la chambre ni de moustiquaire dans la fenêtre donc nous avons eu chaud pendant la nuit.
