The property was about a 10 minute walk from the ferry pier. The worker there was lovely and there were 3 friendly cats always chilling in the communal area. This is also one of the cheapest places to stay on Koh Phi Phi. The main central part of the island is only about a 20/30 minute walk from one side to the other so everything is relatively close, there's also a 7/11 directly outside this property (good for convenience, bad for noise). When we asked the host for fresh towels and toilet roll we were given them too, there was also a small balcony there too.
It's hard to complain about standards when a place is one of the cheapest options in the area, neither do we want to damage the reputation of this hotel, we just want to share facts with users so they enjoy their time on Phi Phi. The street outside this hotel is very busy, especially with people who congregate outside 7-11 after a night drinking and they are very noisy, this hotel has pretty thin walls so you can here the music and noise of the street, similarly, if you have noisy guests in the hotel you will also hear them. Also the room is very hot, we booked the fan room and wish we went with the aircon room (I think they are available at this hotel) as it was just super hot and muggy through the night, which was our fault for not getting the aircon room, not the hotels fault, so I would definitely advise spending that little bit more on a cooler room. Also the bed was very uncomfortable, the springs had all collapsed inside the mattress so you just fell into the bed and the bed would crunch and twang when you rolled over on it. The cleanliness of the room was also pretty poor, when we took our shoes off, dirt covered our feet/socks, it needed a good vacuum out. There was also stains all over the walls.
The room is simple and only fan; but that was fine! Who spends much time in Ko Phi in the room? We had a little terrace and a good view to the movements in town! The price was still like before! Much to recommend!

This place deserves to be rated higher, it is perfectly practical for a few nights stay in Phi Phi. It’s located within easy walking distance to everything on the island, it was clean, comfortable and check in / out process was very straightforward. It is very basic but you do get what you pay for, but the addition of a balcony made it a very nice stay.
Although the fan in the room is very efficient, the room and bathroom do get really hot and stuffy with no aircon but we didn’t really find this an issue if you keep the fan near the bed when you’re sleeping. The street outside is very noisy until early hours of the morning but since Phi Phi is quite a small, lively island I imagine this would be an issue for most properties/areas.
