We booked the 2 rooms on top floor, The shower on top floor didn't work so we had to go downstairs and share with other people which didnt seem amused, we also had problem with other guests smoking weed and partying, the smell was through the whole 3 floors setting off the fire alarms in all rooms at 4am! I suffer with copd so had to sit outside the building until the smoke was cleared,
We went for the oasis tour we couldn't leave our bags until after 4pm which we was at Wembley by then so we had to pay to have them stored, over all the accommodation was ok,but it was the worst nite we've ever experienced and unfortunately turned an epic nite into a very stressful, sleepless nite! 😒

At 3:00 a.m., other guests were playing loud music and shouting, making it impossible to sleep. I immediately contacted the property asking for assistance, but received no response at all.
At 4:00 a.m., the fire alarm went off due to smoke in the common area and in the rooms of the same guests, waking up the entire building.
In total, I was only able to sleep for two hours.

Similar complaints had already been posted by other guests in the days before my stay, but they appeared only after the free cancellation period had expired, leaving me with no chance to change or cancel my booking.

I have videos with timestamps and clear evidence of what happened. It is unacceptable that the property takes no action and fails to guarantee even the most basic respect for guests’ rest and safety.

My company will be getting our legal services team involved .

The Grand M Showcase at 67 Whitechapel Street no longer exists. I was contacted at 4pm, the check-in time, and given the property access codes, then told that the room was at another address, not far from the one I had booked. The room was extremely small but the real problem was the smell. Even though I stayed non-stop with the window open, for 4 days it smelled terribly of cockroach spray, a heavy smell, which seemed to come from the mattress. The room was not cleaned, the floor was sticky, the carpet was dirty, I took out the one in the bathroom because it was disgusting. The towels were dirty, they looked used. Missing hand towel. There is a shared kitchen, no forks and spoons, only 2 knives and 2 teaspoons, cups, plates and bowls. Only one chair in the kitchen. It was a terrible experience, I do not recommend the place primarily because of the dirt and the smell.

Everything was bad from start to early finish, check in wasn't until 4 and cannot store baggage there as we found out this is apartments and not a hotel which also took us a while to find as it doesnt have branding on the front door anymore. We entered the property and was not able to access our room so they just decided a different room for us. The SHARED bathroom stank so bad you couldn't be in longer than a minute with a hand dryer louder than any other. We were in a room next to a group of road men than kept us up until 6am with loud music, banging of doors and other very unsettling conversations aswell as being able to hear the alley way behind us where we could hear all sorts of criminal activity. Noone on site so noone can help, just a random number that I texted to no response. We checked out after the first night as we did not feel safe at all and would rather stay literally anywhere else.

This place is way overprice as we paid an amount too high and we still had a shared toilet and it was not very clean

No fresh air, I couldn't open the window. Also bed was firm, I prefer softer

Shared bathroom facilities is one room (toilet with shower) for 4 bedrooms, not sufficient facilities for the number of people, and the shower is either boiling or freezing. Room is not windowless but dark (frosted window) and with harsh surgical lighting. Additionally, checkout time is early but fine (10am) but there was someone trying to let themselves into our room at 9.30am to start cleaning.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. Shower mats weren’t changed each day. All rooms have a shared bathroom which we didn’t realise, but it was fine.
