Pros:

The bottom line is that I felt a let happier and more relaxed when I left than when I arrived. It's a restorative place. Breakfast is great and the staff are very friendly.

Cons:

The TV in the room is ancient and only has terrestrial channels, the remote didn't work, and it could only be turned off at the wall.. Either replace with a smart TV or remove entirely.

There was a bright light outside that shone into thw room.

Pros:

I loved the view and the feel of being in a cabin in the forest makes it such an authentic experience.

Cons:

No DSTV and wifi was very slow
The Bath Plug was difficult to use
The walkway path bricks were loose and broken

Overall ity was a very good stay in a beautiful part of the country, which I would recommend.
Pros:

Check in was seamless and very efficient, room was as advertised per the bookingh and very clean, neat and tidy.

Cons:

On check out I enquired if we could delay the checkout by an hour, due to us doing a cycling event that started very early and if possible we would like to shower before checking out. I was told that they would have to check with the manager, but it is his off weekend and they are not prepared to contact him/her to ask if my request can be accommodated. I do understand the request was not communicated before check in and clarified, but the checkout staff did not try to at least help us in any way with our request. A blunt "no" was the only reply.

Ontzettend genoten, werkelijk prachtig verblijf.
Pros:

Enthousiast personeel, warme ontvangst, braaien werd volledig verzorgd aangeleverd met hout vlees en salades, we hoefden alleen maar zelf te braaien. Werkelijk schitterende omgeving en heel mooie lodges.
Heerlijk ontbijt ook.

Cons:

Vrij klein 2persoonsbed, maar verder was het echt geweldig

Cons:

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, I believe the dinner experience could be improved.

Considering the price charged for dinner, I expected better quality, especially when it came to the meat dishes. The value for money simply wasn’t there, as the quality of the food did not match the price.

I was also disappointed by the lack of gluten-free options. Nowadays, many guests have dietary restrictions, and offering a wider range of gluten-free choices would make the dining experience much better.

I hope these points can be taken into consideration, as they would significantly improve the overall guest experience.

Bathroom was big with a large bath with water jets.

Cons:

This particular cabin is overpriced for what is offered I feel. The fittings(lights, taps, plugs, switches) in this cabin are showing signs of aging. The entire lodge was built evidently built a while ago, there are some things that should be replaced/renewed
