Ridiculous. I’ve messaged hotel, informing them that I am going to check in late. I was informed that they no longer have free rooms(?), even though my reservation was confirmed.

They’ve said that there’s another room „waiting for me” in another hotel. Upon arriving, it turned out that there isnt and the lady I spoke to seemed to be pretty unfazed about the whole thing. Finally they’ve found a room in another hotel but it was absolutely disgusting and way below the standard of the original reservation, even though I paid the same price.

Don’t bother making a reservation as the hotel cant guarantee that they will keep your room for you, which is against the whole idea of „reservation” in the first place. Imagine showing up to a hotel after 10 hours of motorcycle riding in freezing cold, only to learn that theres no room for you even though u made a reservation and having to stay in dramatic conditions without a cold shower - and all that without any apology
