Best Galveston vacation yet. Staying somewhere so comfortable made all the difference

Queen bed was comfortable, owner responsive, but wish that pictures replicated into what we were walking into.

Cons:

Amenities listed were not available (coffee maker only), washer and dryer were $2 a piece to use, shower handle falling off, counter tops falling apart, flooring coming up making unsafe for crawling baby, no couch only daybed and futon, not clean (there was sand on the floor when arriving, dirt, loose papers, and food under the futon, queen bed, day bed, and oven. Pictures do not correlate with what you are walking in to.

Pros:

Check-in process was easy, front desk staff were helpful, it was close to the beach as advertised and felt like a relatively safe location. Air conditioning, if loud, was reliable and there was ample equipment in the kitchen and living room areas for meals or leftovers.

Cons:

The wifi was very spotty, and while technically clean, the unit felt sorely in need of upkeep. Floor mat by shower was soaking wet on arrival, the sink faucet had mildew and stains, and the couch in the living room had a chemical smell. Accumulated dust/grime in general throughout the unit, and several holes or irregular seams near vents and smoke detectors speak of poor maintenance workmanship. For the price once fees were factored in, we could have stayed at a nicer hotel closer to attractions that provided breakfast and had higher cleaning standards.

Fun spot at the beach.
Pros:

Across the street from the beach! Close to restaurants and bars. Easy drive to downtown.

On the main Oceanfront drive so can get a bit noisy.

The location was great close to restaurants grocery store. Perfect view of the beach. The room is decorated beautiful. The condo had everything we needed. The swimming pool was wonderful.

Cons:

My only complaint is the beds were uncomfortable.the kitchen table and chairs are not practical for adults.

Our stay was great!!! Thank you from the Livingston family.
Pros:

I like that the property was close to the beach I also like that the beach was a clear view from our balcony. My kids loved everything about the apartment. I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Galveston. This was honestly the best place that I’ve stayed in Galveston

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like was the vinegar smell that was in the room when we arrived. I do understand that some cleaners smell awful and that’s why I didn’t mind it.

Great for budget travelers but don't expect 3 star and above accommodations
Pros:

Price made this property a worthwhile stay. Location was great for beach and trolly stop at property made traveling downtown easy. Supermarkets/restaurants within walking distance

Cons:

Property is very dated. Needs some dusting and window cleaning. No TV in Master bedroom. Not a comfortable couch in living room - it was a daybed.

We enjoyed Galveston, the ferry to Bolivar Peninsula and the Brady Museum.
Pros:

We had a good view of the beach from our balcony, and it was a short walk to get there. It was near everything we needed.

Great place to stay you won't be disappointed.
Pros:

Room 307 is decorated so so cute. 🥰 I would highly recommend. There was a lot of thought put into this room. All the little extra things were there. Lots of pillows and plenty of extra blankets. The furniture is almost all thought out enough where it would have multiple uses. Even the light kitchen table was the perfect height that, if you wished, could have come out onto the balcony to eat a meal overlooking the beautiful ocean view. The bathroom has a nice tile shower with a matching bowl-sink. Although it was just the two of us in there, we counted and it would have easily slept 8 to 9 guests (for sleeping.)This unit was also supplied with adequate cookware,utensils and bathroom supplies. There is ample lighting throughout, and the lighting in the kitchen is adjustable. The property also has a beautiful heated swimming pool, so we were able to swim even in early February. If you are looking for fancy, go to the four star places. But if you want a great place to stay that is comfortable affordable and totally usable, come to this beautiful place.

Everything was great. I have stayed here many times before and it was just like always. Since my wife passed it has been a while since i have been here, but the memories were great. i was so glad to make it back. Thanks

It was okay as a base and we enjoyed the town of Galveston.
Pros:

Nice to be near the Galveston Seawall. Easy to walk there! Enjoyed the balcony.

Cons:

Beds were uncomfortable, lighting was poor, kitchen supplies were minimal.

The room itself and the location was nice but not sure we would stay there again.
Pros:

The location was nice. It was right across from the beach.

Cons:

The water in the shower was messed up. It was either too cold or too hot, there wasn't an in-between. Also there were no wash rags. We went down to get some from the front desk and they told us we had to contact booking.com since we booked through them.
