The staff at reception and in the restaurant were so friendly and helpful.
The dinner menu was a bit limited.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, room was immaculate and spacious, fantastic location and gym and leisure facilities exceeded expectations.
Overall a great stay and you definitely stay again 😀
Great location. Friendly and helpful staff.
Rooms a bit tired but enjoyed our stay
Room was very spacious and beds comfy. Breakfast was lovely, plently of choice
Not a fan of the tea being in flasks, would much prefer a pot of tea
clean and meals were lovely
a little bit run down, could do with some TLC and modernisation
Lovely hotel
Having too leave
The location
Booked a superior king room after seeing the rooms had been updated. Only for the room we were given was old and shabby and not renovated at all. Spoke to receptionist who was helpful and moved us rooms.
Shouldn't be advertising superior king rooms if not all like that
Staff were really nice and friendly and the shower was very powerful
The main parts of the hotel are fine, bar bit is nice but the room I was in was awful. Mouse poo everywhere, really run down, scuffs on every surface, sticky vanity. The noise is insane at night - I could hear the bedroom next to me like they were in the room. My upstairs neighbour went to the loo in the night and there were kids running in the halls. Honestly stay anywhere but here. I felt very unclean. Moudly shower curtain.
Facilities where excellent
Fire alarm at 4am 4.15am 4.45am. No apologies given. Again at 5pm. No explanation or apologies again.
Location was good however most shops and cafes were closed on a Monday. No big deal but with limited places to eat for lunch it was obvious.
No light bar snacks or sandwiches available so arriving at 3pm and dinner not until later there was nothing available to eat in between.
Everything
Nothing
The pool was great, and the bar and lounge were comfortable. The shower was fantastic with plenty of hot water. The staff were all very helpful. The hotel was nice and warm.
Cheap plastic glasses in the bathroom. The room was good, but with tired furniture.
Been a few times over the years. The leasure centre is amazing, food, staff and hotel is amazing only this that lets it down is the beds and pillows are really hard, I ended up not being able to sleep because I couldn't get comfy and woke up with pain in my neck and back. The gap at the bottom of the door let a lot of light in from the hall as well so room wasn't as dark as it could have been. We'll be back for a day and a meal instead of an overnight.
Uncomfortable bed and light getting in the bottom of the door from the corridor.
Nothing
No Tennants lager
Not a lot
Room was terrible. Needed more than TLC. Ceiling looked as if it had a leak at one point. Cobweb in toilet with a few spiders in it. My husband went to go into shower and the shower curtain rail came down on him. Hot breakfast was warm only. Did complain and got £50 pounds refund. Paid 110 pounds per night. We stayed two nights. We are just back from Jersey and the hotel we had was amazing was fraction of the cost.
Fantastic pool and leisure facilities the rooms were easy accessible and well signed the restaurant looked beautiful although we didn’t manage to try the food . The car park was perfect for all of us including my disabled mother
Could do with updating some of the carpets were stained the doors had delves and the curtains were old fashioned but it was still a great experience for us
Brilliant facilities, great food and amazing staff. Whenever I'm staying near Glasgow I always choose the Buchanan Arms.
