Beutiful resort to spend time in Lampung, a rather oasis than flying to Bali.
Pros:

Clean, spacious, good customer service. Beautiful and memorable resort and swimming pool water is almost like fresh water with no chlorine. Bed is comfortable. We dine at Hara for breakfast, dinner and the foods are delicious. Walk a bit further to the snorkelling spots and you can hand feed the endangered bird species. Snorkelling spots are frequented by lots of beautiful reef fishes and baby sharks.

Cons:

Drop off and pick up at the lobby could be improved to cater for busy check in or check out when people are loading and unloading. Allowing more comfortable parking spaces. We have 17 people and 4 cars when departing the hotel and unfortunately we are blocking the traffic for a while. I booked 7 rooms during our stay for one night, and Marriott only honouring 3 nights worth of membership points.

Nur wenige Flugminuten von Jakarta entfernt liegt ein kleines Paradies. Eine Hotel und Strand Resort im außergewöhnlichen Design mit viel Liebe zum Detail im gepflegten Zustand mit zahlreichen Angeboten für einen wirklich schönen Urlaub. Mir hat hat die persönliche Ansprache der Mitarbeiter und die Angebote zu den Aktivitäten mit Naturnähe wie Schnorcheln mit Haifischbabies und vielen anderen Fischen und der Vogelpark mit den Tieren die genauso freundlich sind wie die Mitarbeiter und dem Papageien "Kopi" der gar nicht mehr von meiner Schulter wollte ein eindrucksvollen wirklich entspannten Urlaub beschert. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder und dann aber für eine längere Zeit. DANKE.

We loved it!
Pros:

We had a widespread of food each morning at the breakfast hall, buffet style catering to western and Indonesia tastes with slight changes in the menu from day to day. The team at the breakfast hall went out of the way to put together double shot lattes with latte art, special menu items and also surprised us with a really delicious Soto Betawi!

We arrived on a wednesday night and the resort was relatively quiet but it started to fill up with more guests towards the weekend. Despite so, all the service crew were extremely hospitable and none of them shy away from hosting my family and I, we appreciate the warmth and their efforts to go beyond!

Cons:

A shelter could be built at the jetty for hotel guests and also for the jetty crew to seek shelter from the sun. Due to the remote location, getting a car via ride hailing took longer than expected.

Quite a nice stay.
Pros:

Location easy to reach.
Good facility with birds and turtles conservations, lobsters pools.
Nice jetty with snorkeling facilities and fish feeding attraction and small sharks coming to the jetty deck when we knock on the jetty floor.

Cons:

No hand rail when we go down to the sea in front of the hotel / swimming pool. The rock stair down is very slippery. Sand beach located to the floating jetty at the west about 350m away.

Zeker niet 5 sterren waardig!
Pros:

We hebben 3 nachten overnacht. ‘t Viel ons direct al een beetje tegen. Aangezien het toch een 5 sterren hotel is. Bij aankomst was er niemand die ons hielp met al onze bagage. Ook moesten wij zelf de receptie zoeken. Geen welkomstdrankje. Om de dag af te sluiten met onze tolk en chauffeur wilden wij iets verfrissends drinken in de lobby. Helaas was er niets eens frisdrank te krijgen. De volgende dag bij het ontbijt hadden we eieren besteld. Deze zouden naar onze tafel worden gebracht. Dit gebeurde niet en hebben wij zelf om moeten vragen. De volgende dag had ik een omelet besteld die niet goed was bereidt en nog vloeibaar was. Aan het strand is er niemand die een bestelling opneemt. Toen we zelf binnen bij het restaurant een bestelling hadden doorgegeven. Waren ze ons daarna blijkbaar vergeten. Na navraag na 45 minuten kregen we excuses en de drankjes van het huis. Er zijn dus best wat verbeterpunten. Maar gelukkig zijn er ook pluspunten. Wij hadden een couple treatment in de Quan spa en deze was heel prettig. Ook aten wij graag in het restaurant Way Manom door de prettige sfeer en de vriendelijke medewerkers. Aangezien dit het enige 5 sterren hotel is aan het strand en wij nog even een paar dagen helemaal wilden ontspannen voor onze terugreis. Keerden wij terug naar het Marriot. Helaas was dit niet een goede keuze! ‘s Morgens werden we wakker van getimmer. We zijn toen maar op tijd gaan ontbijten. Toen we terugkwamen op de kamer was het heel slecht weer en besloten we om gewoon lekker te relaxen op de kamer. Helaas werd dit ons onmogelijk gemaakt. Op de verdieping boven ons werd nl. verbouwd. Geboor en getimmer. Nadat wij geklaagd hadden, stopte het lawaai even. Maar daarna ging ‘t weer door. Dit ging zo door na de 2e keer klagen. Na de 3e keer klagen nadat ons nog steeds niet een andere kamer was aangeboden, hebben we hier zelf maar om verzocht. Ook jammer was dat we een mindere kamer terug kregen en verder geen excuses.

Cons:

Ze kunnen geen 5 sterren service bieden. Klachten worden niet serieus genomen!
