Avoid.
Pros:

Dirty and smelly place, avoid at all costs. We checked in, looked at the room and checked out. This place shouldn't be advertised.

Super nettes Personal, jedoch ist das Hotel extrem in die Jahre gekommen und das Zimmer sehr unsauber.
Pros:

Die Lage ist super zentral, aber extrem laut, da die Ampeln die ganze Nacht in voller Lautstärke „piepen“. Selbst durchs geschlossene Fenster konnte man das Ampelsignal laut hören.

Cons:

Der Balkon war voller Tauben, was an sich ja nicht schlimm ist. Jedoch sind die Tauben direkt ins Zimmer geflogen, sobald man die Balkontür aufgemacht hat. Überall lagen Federn und zum Teil Taubenschiss auf dem Teppich.

Muy bien ubicado, permite visitar varios lugares de interès en pleno centro.
Pros:

Excelente ubicación, en pleno centro de San José.
El personal muy amable.

Cons:

Problema en sistema eléctrico del baño. Hicieron lo posible por arreglarlo pero persona encargada de mantención estaba de vacaciones

Det var en man som jobbade i receptionen som blev arg, suckade och var allmänt otrevlig när vi sa till att vi hade fått ett felaktigt rum.
Vi hade bokat ett rum med balkong och fick ett utan. Efter att han gett oss fel rum två gånger fick vi till slut ett rum som vi hade bokat.
Vi visade upp bokningsbekräftelsen från booking.com där det stod att det var ett rum med balkong men han vidhöll att vi hade bokat ett annat.

Close to museums.

Cons:

Run down. Peeling paint. Stained carpet. Pigeons living on the balcony. Really noisy. No restaurants nearby. (lots of fast food)

El aislamiento acústico es fatal si te toca una habitación con balcón. Había cucarachas y parece que no cuentan con una buena aspiradora para las alfombras del cuarto.

Decent Home away from home
Pros:

Top location , right in the center of San Jose, on the main pedetrician street. Nice panoramic city view of the capital from balcony ( you can see the mountain even from 4th floor ). Spotless clean. Very ,cooperative staff ( especially Ricardo). Decent staff to check at 10 am. as soon as my room has been cleaned. ( in contrast to other hostels, e.g., " Costarica Bacpackers " : where the rude staff asked to charge 8 $ , just to sit on the couch in the lobby for 3 hours !!! , before check-in, otherwise they cancel your entire booking!!). Good wifi in rooms, real value for your money

Bien para el precio y la ubicación
Pros:

La ubicación buena al lado de un supermercado y a una cuadra del teatro Nacional y otros lugares importantes

Cons:

En la noche casi no salía agua de la ducha, apenas un hilo, hay bastante ruido en algunas horas de la noche ya que es pleno centro
