Everything from the service, to the food, to the facilities were all way beyond expectation and an absolute pleasure to experience. I travelled with my parents who have significant disability and hotel staff went above and beyond to accomodate them and make our stay as comfortable and safe as possible. Thank you to all at Alphine Hotel.
The only 'challenge' was the grounds and pathways around the hotel...not entirely accessible for elderly or sight/physically impared people.
Amazing location, beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, extremely clean rooms and facilities. Close to Redwood Forest. Renovations are fantastic. The Twin Single bed was a king single and a lovely surprise.
We had a non ensuite room but the facilities weren't far. It was handy having a sink in the room.
Alot of small areas to sit and ponder about life
Lack of parking was difficult to find but we found one on site although there is more parking on the road which is difficult when your restaurant bar bbq area and food/drinks are a popular venue for families and I get it
Not a complaint, just an observation 😁
Nice settings, surroundings and building. The view towards the river from their terrace is just delicious.
Their breakfast was really good; there were plenty of yummy, nutritious options.
The room had a smell of smoke at different times of the day. And, for a light sleeper, everything was too noisy.
The last morning of my stay was a public holiday in Victoria (which was the reason why I did the booking). Unfortunately, the whole hotel was unattended, and the bathroom/toilets were incredibly messy and had a terrible odour that morning.
Everything
Nothing
Great ebike storage. Wonderful restaurant. Friendly staff
Breakfast was substantial.
Overall meals were good.
All good
Really nice and tranquil
Minor issue was bed was too soft for us
Just what we wanted. Lovely hotel with old country feel, friendly staff. Great position across from the river. Will be back!
Food was amazing! Staff and service was great. Rooms were clean and comfy with good access to heating.
Would be good if the noise could be limited. We could hear noise of people next door through the walls and in the hallway through the door.
I love the dinning area. Buzzing on a sunday night with nice food and alpine lager! The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room is basic but it has all you need.
Nothing bad but just to let you know only provide breakfast in weekends.
Loved the property, great location and a beautiful area.
The split system unit on the roof above the bed had a bright, green light that flashed continuously all night!
The bed was a double size, although the Booking.com site indicated a Queen bed size.
Good location
No black tea available in guest kitchenette. Shared bathroom was cold. No tv in room
