The beautiful lake and view

Chỗ nghỉ có vị trí cực kỳ đẹp, ngay tại trung tâm bãi tắm. Nhân viên rất thân thiện và nhiệt tình. Khách sạn vô cùng sạch sẽ, bể bơi tại tầng 5 nhìn bao quát xung quanh hồ. Đồ ăn không đa dạng như nhiều khu resot khác, nhưng lại vô cùng ngon và hợp khẩu vị. Nội thất của khách sạn hoàn toàn mới, sạch sẽ và chuẩn đến từng chi tiết. Nếu có dịp sẽ quay lại đây vào một ngày gần nhất.
It was clean
Horrible location. You can find any grab or scooter nearby. Middle or nowhere. No good restaurants nearby ( only local restaurants which don’t accept cards). We really felt like stuck in outdoor prison. Also the receptionist lady tried to charge us money when we were checking out, she said the towel isn’t clear and we must pay for cleaning. The towels in the room weren’t for decoration! May be a perfect place for the local tourist but for international tourists this hotel is a nightmare ! You’ll have to hire a metered taxi to go everywhere which has to be arranged by the hotel receptionist.
The king room was lovely, clean, well furnished and and a great view. We also stayed in a second room as we had to unexpectedly extend our stay, the deluxe room was equally good for the price. A very nice standard in both rooms. The whole hotel is nicely put together as it’s new and has a prominent position on the lake. The staff did their best to help us as much as they could understand us as we only speak English.
The dinning room is nice but the breakfast was basic. The al a carte menu is not to standard, also very basic and low quality and not all items are available. The coffee shop did not offer the menu that they advertise so altogether the food and drinks were a huge disappointment, given that we booked the hotel based on its facilities. The pool was dirty and took several days to be cleaned. There are only 2 sun loungers so there was nowhere to sit when other quests were using them. The level of spoken English with staff is minimal and so no effective communication could be had about the local area, taxis or other places to eat.
The king room was very good and comfortable with a great view of the lake. Spacious and well equipped.
Staff did their best to help and were very polite.
Although the lakeside location was nice it was remote from being able to access on foot a range of local amenities. No grab taxis available. We felt isolated and coupled with no English speaking staff it was not possible to make any enquiries about the locality during our 5 night stay as it was only broken English. The coffee shop was not always open and when it was it did not offer the range of drinks that it advertised. The a’ la carte menu was not a’ la carte at all and extremely limited and basic. There were 3 breakfast choices and also small portions. The swimming pool we could not access because it had not been cleaned and was full of algae. The picture below is after the initial cleaning and it took a second day to get up to scratch. There are only 4 sun loungers around the pool and nowhere else to sit if these are taken. Once everyone arrived for the public holiday and the pool was fully cleaned it was then packed with families playing and not able to use for relaxing or swimming.
We constantly had mosquitoes in the room.
During our stay, the public holiday called reunification day, bought many more local people to the hotel. It seemed that the facilities were only then cleaned and opened up for the other guests. Had this not been a public holiday the advertised facilities were not open or ready for use by us. The reason we booked a 5 night stay here was a result of their advertised facilities, however we could not access any of these, which was a huge disappointment.
We got a very spacious room with all we needed. The staff was very friendly and nice. It is located directly at the lake, so we could easily take a walk along the lake.
The hotel quite new and staff very helpful. I love the room with model decoration. I will come back for my next trip.
Nothing
We had a wonderful night. Phuc Yen is a great place to get away from the chaos of the city. It is only 1 hour away from Hanoi. I would also like to thank the staff at Hotel Belliss. They have built a hotel with a wonderful view right next to Dai Lai Lake. The view from the terrace is especially incredible. We highly recommend it. A niche environment where you can spend a romantic weekend.
