The bedrooms smelt of damp from the moment we entered. The rooms were in a very sorry state. The bath had stains and scum line on the bath. The overall cleanliness of the room and bathroom were below standard. The carpet by the bathroom was not attached and created a trip hazard. The window was unable to close which allowed road noise into the room.
During our stay the police had to remove guests from the neighbouring room due to noise and smoking in the room.
There was also a strong smell of cannabis within the corridor area.

Said I was not aloud in due to misconduct however nothing had happened in previous stay.
Location ok. Bar next door had decent array of drink and food.
Room was in need of renovation. It was okay, but felt cold.
It’s is on bus route into town
Bathroom was tired with broken toilet seat and no plug.
To check in facilities after 11pm still refused to refund my payment

it was nice and clean and all the staff was great
nothing was bad to be fair
breakfast was good
assumptions one of the staff made about our booking. We didn't pre book breakfast and the staff member assumed we had and was not helpful when we asked for the pub breakfast menu.

The Mount by Greene King was what I expected from a budget hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent with lots of water pressure. A kettle and beverages wee available in the room. Although I didn't spend much time in the room, it catered for my stay perfectly.
