It was cheap for a family room and near to the pub for dinner on our way back from Scotland.
We had a travel cot as requested.
I would genuinely say if you have weak hands and are staying alone, you will not be able to turn the taps on and off. The shower in our room flooded the bathroom if it wasn't turned off really hard by my husband. The taps too.
The bathroom was a bit grim and could do with a bit of attention. Obviously not a full refurb or it would not be as cheap to stay there.
It's very hot and with the window open it's loud next to the motorway but this shouldn't surprise you if you research your location.

The property is very dated. It could really do with decorating.
Rooms were far too hot. Damp and mould throughout the bathroom and round the window.

The location was good as our friends live nearby.
The hotel was located behind the bar. The photo on website is not the entrance to the hotel. It didnt feel safe for a woman to walk around to the hotel by herself. There was a smell of damp everywhere. The further downstairs you went the worse it got. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls from dampness. Our bathroom door wouldn't close as it was warped. No water in room or vending machine. Rooms were old fashioned. Beds were clean. We had a family room which would be your equivalent to a double room in most hotels. 1 double bed and 1 small single bed. Not large enough for family.
The staff and food were fab, parking was easy with good lighting. The linen was clean.
I stayed here with my children 2 years ago and was very happy.
The bed was bowl shaped, the hair dryer was dirty, I had to wash the bath/shower before use.
Mould in the bathroom, the decor was rough/shabby.
Nice hotel for a short stay, good location, next to a pub and ample free car parking spaces.
Room was quite basic and could do with a little tlc, but it was spacious, clean and the bed was quite comfortable.
Tea, coffee etc were provided.
It was quite convenient for an event we were attending and we would stay here again next year, if we attend the same event.

nothing didn't like
The staff were so helpful, they're the reason I booked the Mount for the second time. From the cleaner to the reception staff, I was impressed with the service provided.
I honestly can't think of any criticism. It's a cleann, cheap and cheerful place to stay.
