Die Anlage ist toll. Etwas abgelegen aber noch so das man zu Fuß in die Stadt gehen kann.
Leider hatten wir an allen Tagen Baulärm. Hämmern, sägen und schleifen. Also kein Relax Hotel!

Sehr familiär und außerordentlich freundliches Personal! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber!!!! Und so eine tolle Lage!!!
The grounds and garden areas were very beautiful. Location is right on the riverwalk/malecon. And right next to the Ethnobotanical Park, which I highly recommend to learn more about the plants used by the Shuar and Quechua natives of the area.
The jacuzzi wasn't very warm and appeared a bit dirty.
Idyllisch am Rande von Puyo gelegen. Hübscher Garten mit 2 großen warmen Badezubern. Ideal für Ausflüge ins Regenwaldgebiet, wenn man ein Auto hat.

Relatively expensive stay but it’s worth it

A bit of a distance to carry luggage from the road, including steps.
El Jardin is a gem. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The large veranda is equipped with soft seats, there are hammocks hanging everywhere and the view on the curated garden is dreamy. From the surrounding forest, all kinds of unidentifiable bird songs reach your ears. There are friendly cats jumping around, cute little pavilions, hot tubs. The on-site restaurant served a gastronomic meal that completely took me by surprise. Running right in front of the main door is the pathway that leads to the Puyo river where people are jogging. It's just perfect.
Hotel owners cannot control everything. There was an electricity blackout on the first night (El Jardin is more or less in the forest) and I was left to figure things out on my own. Nobody came to inform me of the situation, no help was offered. Perhaps because I am a guy travelling alone with a backpack the staff thought I could handle a mundane electricity shortage without drama (and well, yes, they were correct). Nonetheless, had it been me working that night, I would have consulted the guests and offered help and candles.
