An Excellent Hotel Let Down by Poor Customer Service
Pros:

The Suite Room was excellent—spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The view was absolutely beautiful. In my opinion, this is one of the best hotels in Colaba, second only to the Taj Mahal Palace. The restaurant also deserves special recognition, offering excellent food quality, delicious taste, and great value for money. Overall, the facilities and location were outstanding.

Cons:

The shower water pressure was extremely weak.
The main disappointment, however, was the check-in experience. I had requested an early check-in, but my request could not be accommodated because the official check-in time is 2:00 PM, which I completely understood and respected.
When I was finally given my room at around 1:00 PM, the receptionist asked me to settle the full payment immediately. I politely explained that I first needed to open my luggage, take some cash, exchange it, and then I would return to complete the payment.
Within minutes of entering my room, I received a phone call reminding me to pay, followed by a staff member knocking on my door with the same request. This made me feel as though I was not trusted and might leave without paying, despite the hotel already holding my credit card details and having charged the first night's stay in advance as a guarantee.
I have stayed at many hotels in Colaba, including The Taj Mahal Palace, The Oberoi, Ascott, Regent, and Apollo, and I have never experienced this level of mistrust.
My message to the hotel management is this: A great hotel is not defined only by its rooms or facilities, but by the way guests are treated. A single employee who does not fully understand hospitality and customer service can unintentionally damage the reputation of an excellent hotel and undermine all the effort invested in attracting guests. Unfortunately, this was the only negative part of my stay, but it was enough to affect my overall experience.

لم يعجبني سياسة الفندق الصارمه التي تمنع إدخال الطعام الخارجي بالإضافة الي صغر مساحة الغرفة

The hotel is in a convenient location and close to many shops, which is a plus. However, the hotel is quite old and could use some renovation. Cleanliness was below expectations, the room doors were difficult to close, and the elevator was very slow. Overall, it was an average stay, but there is room for improvement.
