Unpleasant staff
Cons:

We stayed at the hotel and had breakfast and dinner at The Quays Pub, that’s part of the hotel.

The hot food section was limited to a single visit. Knowing you can’t go back for more, you’re almost forced to overload your plate to avoid being hungry later. It makes for an awkward and unnecessary experience.

In the evening, the pub itself was disappointing. On both nights we visited, the kitchen closed at 8:30 p.m., even though the website states that food is served until 10:00 p.m. This was frustrating, especially for us who were returning from silverstone F1 Grand Prix and counted on the dinner there.

What affected the experience the most, however, was the atmosphere. The staff seemed eager for the shift to end, and the waitresses gave the impression that they really didn’t want to be there. The service felt rushed and unwelcoming, creating a rather hostile environment that made us feel like an inconvenience instead of customers.

Unfortunately, the overall experience did not live up to the expectations.

Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay here. As a solo traveler the staff made me feel very welcomed and safe. The pub/restaurant next door had lovely food deals and pretty solid food. Rooms were comfortable and loved the amenities.

Cons:

That there was no notice prior to booking that a card is required for a £50 refundable room damage deposit is required

And the van alarm going off several times late at night in the car park

Excellent restaurant, helpful staff.
Pros:

The room was located on the ground floor as requested, and near to our other guest. The restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent. The staff are so helpful, even when they are tremendously busy. The food is of a high quality. Would highly recommend the lasagne and of course the Carvery!

Cons:

We had been to an outside event so we were really hot . When we checked in, our room was supposed to have been ready, but it had not been cleaned. So, we then had to go back to reception, and we were then allocated another room, which was OK, but then had to find a fan (it was the really, really hot weekend in June!!). Once we had cooled down, everything was OK!!

An average family friendly 3 star hotel with lovely staff members.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the room was spacious. The pub next door was very useful for meals as well.

Cons:

No aircon which is expected for the UK but a fan would be an excellent addition. It’s also quite far out from the city centre and the bus will take a while to get you there.

Pros:

Frukosten var bra. Rummen var rena.

Cons:

Middagstiderna var annorlunda än på hemsidan så köket var redan stängt två gånger när vi kom ner och skulle äta. På sommaren så blev det väldigt varmt i rummet och även med två fläckar så sov man utan täcke.
