Everything you need for a nice night stay, close to everything and ideal for food, very comfy beds and pillows!
Staff could have been slightly more welcoming, but was pleasant. And the cleaners in the morning slightly loud when some would like to stay in bed a bit later. And tv didn’t work properly needs retune.
The room that I had was for a disabled person (which I asked for) unfortunately I was not able to get into the shower as the shower was in the bath and although there was plenty of grab rails I still wasn’t able to get my leg over into the bath
The staff were very helpful and friendly both in the hotel and pub
Not having to pay the extra £50 in case we had damaged the room , which of course we didn’t. But the money has not been given back to us yet.
Staff were great. Good value too
Noisy bar/restaurant
Really friendly staff. Receptionist extremely helpful as I asked to change rooms as the room smelt of sewage and was coming up from the pipes in the bathroom in room 110. Receptionist found another room and made sure it didn't smell then came to find me with the new key in the restaurant. Restaurant staff also very chatty and pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom extremely clean. View of the lake could have been nicer if it didn't have rubbish around the edge to look at. Overall a really pleasant experience. Would stay there again.
The smell.of room 110 however I did get moved with no issues.
Rubbish around the lake.
All good
Nothing
It was reasonable value for money, rooms comfortable and had free onsite parking all big plus.
Staff were all fantastic and couldn’t do enough to make guests happy.
The walls were too thin floors creaked whenever anybody moved upstairs, I eventually asked to be moved as I must have had a marching band in the room above.
However I became very conscious of the floors creaking at every move I made.
Lastly the WIFI was atrocious.
Nice room. Lovely reception staff.
Can eat at restruant/ pub attached to hotel.
Location handy for us.
Short staffing for breakfast weekends. Staff stressed but still doing their best for customer.
