Nothing all good
The hotel has a good feel about it with plenty of parking space and a beautiful view of the quay from the beer garden. The carvery is amazing and a good choice of beer and great quality breakfast fry up. For a visit to Northampton it is a great central location.
The hotel rooms do show their age, on arrival we did meet a member of staff but she quickly told us that she shouldn’t be there, also on each day we had to go to the restaurant to ask who was on reception. I also found that some of the bar staff could do with some customer training. The breakfast coffee is horrible, maybe a modern machine would be a great improvement and a modern toaster or 2 as there were too many people waiting. I think the hotel took advantage of the Grand Prix weekend, it was well over priced.
We walked in to a dirty room!
Stayed here a few times the venue is great , staff are always fab & helpfull & the food is fantastic at great prices
If i had to pick faults it would be the family room we had . Only 2 sockets all others blanked off so to charge phones we had to un plug the kettle & tv . Also shower curtain has black mould on bottom so needs new one .
breakfast was lovely
