Great stay
Pros:

Lovely welcoming staff. Good room. Great breakfast and pub meal was very reasonably priced

Very nice and pleasant stay.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and clean, the bed couldn’t be more comfortable.
The breakfast was outstanding, plenty to eat and drink.

Cons:

There could have been more seating in the room, except for 1 small chair we had to sit to watch tv on the bed.

The heater had been turned off in the room so the temperature was only 9 degrees c. when we arrived , the room took 2 hours to warm up to 18 degrees . We did tell the receptionist who apologised but is this likely to happen again ? We are regular visitors and will not risk another evening in a freezing room

Clean and comfortable, does the job.
Pros:

Breakfast was good, but with limited options for hot food. Our room was clean and bigger than expected. All the necessary amenities were provided.

Cons:

Staff were overwhelmed at breakfast on one morning of our stay, although they admitted it was busier than usual. Customer service was less friendly than the previous day due to this.

Luckily we only stayed one night. We did not use restaurant so can not review this
Cons:

The outside of hotel was grubby and unkept, not welcoming
The room and bathroom could have been cleaner, the rooms are dark and unwelcoming, decoration needs attending to

Good location. Inexpensive

Cons:

The mattress was cheap and old. Sagging in the middle. Very noisy movement from above to the early hours sounded like furniture was being moved around.

Pros:

It was ok. But will not be staying here again

Cons:

Carvery food was not hot. Breakfast was not much better on being hot. Heating system was poor. No towel heated rail. Desert range to much chocolate
