Due to the age of the building, there are steep stairs leading to certain rooms, which may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Furthermore, some rooms have wonky floors, to be avoided if you suffer from any imbalance symptoms.
Please note that parking at the hotel is very limited. Spaces are allocated spaces on a first come, first served basis. However, there is free parking from 18:00 - 08:00 on the road outside the hotel, or 18:00 - 09:00 in close by car parks. Parking tickets will be refunded. There are also 2 drop off spaces outside the hotel.
The Old Vicarage Hotel welcomes well-behaved dogs in the classic rooms for a GBP 15 per night, per dog fee. They will be provided with a dog bed, bowls, treats and toilet bags. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, mess must be picked up and disposed of and no dog may be left in a room on its own. Please inform the property in advance if traveling with a pet.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Where can I start. The staff are all so lovely and friendly.
The hotel is quirky, and adorable.
The scrambled eggs for breakfast are absolutely amazing. I don't like eggs, but we hurried down for the scrambled eggs.
Nothing was too much trouble for anyone.
Our room was very clean, also very comfortable bed.
We couldn't get the T.V to work, the staff sorted it out.
The view of the church was lovely to look at out of our window.
The only thing which put us off, was the town centre is very run down. If you could pick this hotel up and move it. It would be fantastic.

The staff on arrival were welcoming. The bar area was not disappointing it was very old English. The meal we had in the restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced. There was also a specials board. Plenty of garden area outside to sit, relax and have a drink.little extras in the room were a nice gesture. All very quaint and overall clean.
Extremely disappointed with breakfast after having such outstanding food the evening before. Full English consisted of what only can be described as bland serve yourself motorway food. With the added touch of waitress service and chinaware The continental breakfast the same, that's why we opted for Full English! Sorry, but we did expect a traditional home cooked breakfast at £144 (this was with bookings.com discount) ... Deco in the room was tired, carpets stain needed cleaning and walls freshening up.
