Interesting place to stay, charming. Wants to be great, doesn’t quite make it but is fun anyway.
Pros:

Cute spot, unique and interesting. Staff was great.

Cons:

Floor of my room sloped so badly that one post of the bed was 4 inches lower than the rest. Old classic cramped English room.

Etape sympathique!
Pros:

Hôtel charmant situé dans un ancien presbytère, certaines parties dataient du 13ème siècle! La chambre était confortable et le petit déjeuner sympathique.

Pros:

I was made very welcome. Good location. Nice to have freshly cooked hot breakfast to order, rather than luke warm self service found in more expensive establishments.

Comfortable traditional base in Bridgwater town centre.
Pros:

Good location in the centre of old Bridgwater town. We booked their suite which gave us extra space with seating area, spacious bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Comfortable quality mattress. Friendly responsive staff. Good freshly cooked breakfast plus cold buffet with delicious homemade baked treats. An excellent evening meal and characterful bar. Excellent value.

Lovely place to stay!
Pros:

Bridgwater seems to be full of beautiful old buildings and this fits with that theme.
The room was perfect - the only minor negative was the noisy old floors and plumbing - and the food in the restaurant was fabulous.
