I definitely recommend!
Pros:

It was cozy and the breakfast was great! I loved that they had coffee all day!

Cons:

The only issue we had was the door apparently doesn't close correctly when it gets rainy outside. But they fixed it no problem.

Pros:

Breakfast not was good at all! Great location. Reception was really nice! We arrive late and she made us a fresh pot of coffee. You pay for what you get!

Cons:

Wall are thin and you could hear EVERYTHING!! Breakfast could have been better. We booked room thinking we would not have a breakfast expense.

Our accommodation were clean, warm and comfortable.
Pros:

The Windstar is extremely clean. The main entrance is welcoming, bright with plenty of seating. The rooms are nicely decorated. Unique features are the framed reproductions of Carolina Beach postcards hung throughout the hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

We found no negatives.

A quick, comfortable stay
Pros:

The breakfast was fine; they have a pancake machine that will delight children. I didn't see any juice. The towels were thick and fluffy, shower was great. Very clean room and super friendly staff. Convenient, central location.

The staff was helpful the breakfast was okay. My account was charged $100 deposit, it was then replaced but it was taken out again. This caused some stress.

Close to everything I like such as Fort Fisher, Wilmington, Wrights Beach and Kure.

Cons:

Room was not clean, the bedding was dirty. Wally in the hotel has a strong chemical smell. Room was very tiny with no iron board.
