Pros:

Javier who runs the hotel was amazing and really made my stay special. He was the best concierge I have ever met. He would anticipate any need and was always able to help with even the small details. For example one afternoon it was raining heavily and he had left an umbrella outside my room without me even asking. The hotel is clean and modern. My room was excellent and the location is perfect for walking into Mindo.

Idyllic setting
Pros:

It was so comfortable and the setting idyllic. Javier was very helpful and made our stay a great one.

It wasn't easy to find the entrance on our first day - the sign needs to be more prominent.

¡El mejor lugar en el que me he hospedado en Mindo!
Pros:

¡La habitación premium estaba hermosa y la vista era de ensueño! Me gustó el hecho de que te ofrezcan vino, aunque con un costo adicional, y el área de la bañera estaba muy linda. Lo mejor de todo fue la actitud de Javier, quien era la persona encargada de recibirnos.

Cons:

Para el precio que uno paga, el desayuno podría ser un poco más abundante y variado. De todas maneras, estuvo muy sabroso.

Pros:

El hotel es nuevo y la habitación estaba muy cómoda , adicionalmente el personal (Javier) es muy amable y servicial

Cons:

Tal vez q la piscina no es temperada , pero lo digo porque a mi novia no le gusta el agua fría , para mi estuvo perfecta porque hizo mucho calor y fue refrescante . En los días un poco fríos tal vez una piscina temperada funcione mejor

Paradise found!
Pros:

Absolutely wonderful stay. Extremely helpful and friendly host. Suite was exquisite. Gardens were impeccable. Breakfast was delicious and more than we could eat. Thrilled to have found this property!

Highly recommended- beautiful country location but walking distance to Mindo centre

Very large room with jacuzzi bath and separate shower and kitchenette
Delicious breakfasts
Javier the perfect host ready for your every need
Carmen the masseuse lovely hot stone massage

Cons:

Although it’s only six or seven minutes walk from the town centre there are dark parts I didn’t feel confident walking as a solo female but very easy and inexpensive to get a taxi

Beautiful and high end accommodation is a gorgeous setting.
Pros:

Small boutique hotel that’s almost as nice as some 5 star hotels. The day bed swings down by the river were my favorite. Includes breakfast that was very delish with views of the nearby mountains. You can walk to town (which I did because I prefer going for a walk) in 10 minutes or they can call a cab. But - don’t wear white sneakers - the dirt road has a reddish clay in it that will stain your shoes. I switched to my black hiking shoes to preserve my white sneakers. The gentleman who runs this hotel is so kind and accommodating but doesn’t speak a lot of English so either brush up your Spanish or use your Google translate app. Bring cash because not everyone takes credit cards. Mindo is the greenest most lush environment I’ve ever been to!

Cons:

I really can’t think of anything that could use improvement.
