Nice for the price
Pros:

Clean new updated furniture with pull outs. Enough beds. Quiet.

Cons:

Spider webs on the decks and around the doors couldn’t enjoy setting out on the patio.

Pros:

Spacious comfortable accommodating affordable rental... amenities at the recreation center... Peaceful and quiet...seen lots of animals at the lake we were at... Overall great time

Cons:

No screened in porch at our unit.. the bugs ate us up... Lots of steps... was a bit rough having small children

Overall it was a nice stay.
Pros:

Quiet. Convenient to New Bern

Cons:

Dishes, silverware and pans all had to be washed. They were dirty. Jacuzzi couldn't be used because hot water ran out before reaching the jets.

Won’t be staying here again!

The amenities at the rec center

Cons:

The property is very outdated, water doesn’t get hot enough, and when I went to check in my reservation was not available. I booked way back in July. Granted the manager helped me the next morning and told me I could request a night free. But when I went thru my booking site to request one night free like I was told they couldn’t get ahold of the manager for an approval and when I tried calling her I could no longer contact her via the number I spoke with her on all weekend. I believe she blocked me so she didn’t have to approve my one night free stay that she told me to request.

Pros:

Dishwasher did not work the entire stay. Spoke to manager.states will give a complementary weekend stay. Front door will not lock. I prefer full refund or seven day complementary stay.

Cons:

Washing dishes everyday. Lots of dishes at Thanksgiving....embarrassing for guest to see.

Just ok place
Pros:

The location was easy to get to downtown new Bern. It was quiet and the kids liked the pool and mini golf.

Cons:

The oven didn’t work properly several lights were out and the living room furniture needs updated cause love seat sank when you sat on it. The whole inside needs updated. It was cleanish but not great.
