Pros:

Clean. Comfortable. Helpful staff. A fan put in the room without asking to help in the extreme heat and given a room with best chance of escaping the sun. Very considerate. Very good value for money.

Cons:

Bathroom clean but a bit dated as is the room.

Location great, car park good, restaurant great.
Bathroom good separate bath and shower, windows in bathroom.
Lovely meals, dinner and breakfast.
Manager and staff welcoming

Cons:

Bed low, uncomfortable and creaky.
Very hot weather, small fan in the room , the building is very old so no air conditioning, window in bedroom didn't open.

Fabulous stay in a very old, amazing building. Would recommend highly.
Pros:

Your restaurant Manager MEL is an absolute treasure. She was running around doing everything at a very busy time. There were quite a few of us for a wedding from Friday evening until Sunday morning, but she did so much to make sure everything was perfect for the guests. The chef on Saturday breakfast could do with a bit more training!!
The room (no.5) was really comfortable for a short stay, but would need a larger room for a longer holiday. I do not think I have a single negative comment, fabulous stay in an amazing building. Thank you

Cons:

Unfortunately the chef on Friday evening was very slow and some meals were wrong. Very slow on Saturday morning and poor MEL was rushed off her feet. Sunday breakfast was much different and much quicker. But despite this the food was delicious.

Very pleasant stay, will request a ground floor back room next time.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. Room was a decent size.

Cons:

Stairs up to first floor were a little steep with narrow steps, ,not really suitable for older people carrying bags. The heat ( which the hotel can do nothing about ) meant we needed to leave the windows open at night, and the main road right outside our window meant we had a noisy slightly disturbed night.

Reasonably convenient for our event. Small room had limited storage and bathroom was tired.
Pros:

At least there was a cereal option.

Cons:

Lack of fresh fruit, limited juice and milk options. Personally prefer cranberry or pomegranate juice and soya milk for breakfast.

In a beautiful village nice and clean good value

Cons:

There were some golfers staying ( they stay every year they came in drunk shouting and throwing Mac Donald’s fry’s about reception
Also the road is unavoidably loud

Very friendly staff, nice for one night. Fairly comfortable.
Pros:

Loved the feel, it was cute, good location as we’d come from the spa at CP.

Cons:

Room was a bit dark, could have done with a lamp in the corner. I would have liked some toiletries and honestly the bathroom was a bit dated, a walk in shower probably better.

Friendly hotel
Pros:

As bedroom was very hot, we appreciated the residents lounge one evening. Good to have restaurant for evening meal. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

Staircase was very steep especially when carrying suitcases. Bedroom was very hot but appreciated fan which ran all day.

Pros:

Room was clean and had everything I needed. Staff were very helpful and made sure the windows in my room were open and there was a fan turned on for me as we were in the middle of a heatwave. Food was good value and very tasty
