Pros:

perfekte Lage in der Altstadt, Zimmer ruhig und mit allen ausgestattet was man braucht. Alles sehr sauber und gemütlich und auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Hotel mit Charme und angeschlossener Schlemmerstube

Zimmer sind neu ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Freundlicher Service. Zentrale Lage. Frühstück klein, aber fein. Sehr angenehmes Preisniveau.
Dazu gibt’s ja noch die Weinstube: Erst einmal würde ich die Weinstube in Schlemmerstube umtaufen - das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Hatte einen frischen Beilagensalat mit selbst gemachtem Dressing, dazu köstliche Schweinelendchen mit frischen Spätzle und einer sehr leckeren Peffersauce - das zu sehr akzeptablen Preisen. Der Raum strahlt großbürgerlichen Charme aus begleitet von angenehmer klassischer Musik.

A little gem in old town Koblenz
Pros:

Loved this hotel! It had an old world elegance but with all the modern amenities. The staff were very nice and helpful, the included breakfast was very generous. The location was perfect for walking the old town area, reaching attractions on the river.

Incheckning från kl 15.00… Då förväntar man sig att det skall finnas personal på plats. Vi hade parkerat och tagit med oss vårt bagage för att finna att vi inte kan komma in på hotellet, vi ringde ett nr som stod på dörren ett antal gånger. Inget svar. Det kom ett flertal gäster till och ingen hade fått något besked. Booking hjälpte oss så att vi kunde boka ett annat hotell efter att vi väntat 1 timma utan att någon ansvarig personal synts till. Tack Booking!

Ordentliches Hotel in der Koblenzer Altstadt
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig in der Altstadt von Koblenz. Vom Bahnhof aus erreicht man das Hotel zu Fuß in ca. 20 Minuten, vom Hotel aus sind es gerade mal 5 Minuten bis zum Deutschen Eck und der Talstation der Seilbahn.

Nachts war es sehr ruhig, ich konnte gut schlafen.

Das Frühstück war nicht überwältigend, aber in Ordnung. Da ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei.

Cons:

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem Altbau -- dass man dort schon mal Treppen steigen muss und verwinkelte Flure vorfindet, ist nicht zu ändern und hat mich auch nicht überrascht.

Trotzdem fand ich mein Zimmer gewöhnungsbedürftig. Nach dem Betreten des Zimmers steht man zunächst im Bad und muss dann zwei Treppenstufen rauf, um in den Bereich mit Bett und Tisch zu gelangen. Das Bad, und insbesondere auch die Toilette, sind nicht räumlich vom Schlafbereich abgetrennt, was ich als etwas störend empfunden habe. Auch die Treppenstufen innerhalb des Zimmers fand ich nicht sehr schön.

Der Blick vom Zimmer aus ging auf eine Art Dachterasse, auf der sich gelegentlich andere Hotelgäste aufgehalten haben, die damit einen direkten Blick auf den Schreibtisch und das Bett in meinem Zimmer hatten. Ich fand das nicht tragisch, aber hätte ich wirklich unbeobachtet sein wollen, hätte ich die ganze Zeit über den Vorhang zuziehen müssen.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war in der hintersten Ecke im obersten Stock, ohne Lift. Aber uns wurde freundlicherweise mit dem Gepäck beim Hochtragen geholfen.
