HOTEL SHANDON-2 Mins From Connaught Place

Si te toca habitación exterior. al lado hay un club nocturno y el ruido no te deja dormir. ni con audífonos. Lo siento.
Seguramente si me tocaba otra habitación ponía todo 10. Pero no poder dormir me ha bajado puntos al hotel.

Die Lärmbelästigung von einem Gebäude in der Nähe des Hotels, die von ca. 21:00 Uhr bis spät nach Mitternacht laute Bollywood Musik gespielt haben. Ich hatte Ohrstöpsel dabei und so konnte ich sehr gut schlafen.

Partiamo dal taxi mandato dall'hotel in aeroporto (pagato 1.500 rupie indiane)... L'auto era sporca con sedili ricoperti di moquette... Vabbè, Atteso davanti al gate x 35 minuti nonostante l'appuntamento... Prelevati e durante il tragitto ha fatto una lunga deviazione x fermarsi a fare gas... Risultato arrivati in hotel dopo più di un'ora. Proseguiamo... La notte è piovuto forte (ci sta')... risultato, veniva giù acqua anche nel bagno della camera (non ci sta').. Si ma parliamo della colazione... Doveva essere dalle 8:00 alle 10.00... ma dato che era piovuto erano in ritardo (ci sta')... Colazione 8.30. Abbiamo mangiato pane e acqua perché il resto era da lasciar perdere. Premetto, viaggiamo tanto, ma questa è stata tra le peggiori esperienze... Meglio spendere di più. Non cerchiamo standard elevati. Pessima esperienza

The staff were friendly but unfortunately they scammed us in the morning on a 5am pick up. Reception ask if we had travel plans and I told them I was getting a 6am train from New Delhi station. He offered a taxi which I declined as I always get uber. He said uber wouldn’t be working at that time in the morning as they would take us.
He asked for 500 rupees, I didn’t question it as this was a busy work trip, at 5am we waited downstairs, woke up the night porter which he then had a million different conversations and finally at 5.20 put us in the taxi, which time I was very very stressed, as the station is huge and busy.
Got into the taxi drove us up the road around 3 minutes, said he didn’t want to get in the traffic so would we walk the rest with our suitcases and charged us 500 rupees for the pleasure of it all.

We had to run for the train thru crowds of porters and people ! Very stressful at 5am! We made the train, but the whole situation could have been avoided. I messaged the manager but had no reply.

It’s an easy hotel for getting round Delhi and great if you’re not actually there! But not clean, breakfast awful and just want to scam you for money on trips and taxis!

Breakfast was more suited to indian culture, but there was still food that I enjoyed

Está al lado de un Bar, y hay noches que la música se escucha demasiado en la habitación hasta las 12-1 h de la noche.
Que no se pudiera usar el rooftop, estaban realizando trabajos.

I was disappointed to find that my room key had automatically deactivated by the time I returned to the hotel after sightseeing.
