Mooie plek aan het strand! Goed bed, mooi zwembad en prima eten.
Het toilet in de kamer is open, niet erg fijn. De steentjes op het terrein lopen niet fijn.
The location is perfect. We loved sitting on our patio watching the waves and beautiful sunset. The pool is gorgeous and staff are all very nice and accommodating!! Restaurant was also very excellent with best views in town.
It’s all great!

Beautiful location, very nice property and great staff. The ocean front studio is super cute, loud waves lull you to sleep, you can walk forever on the beach and watch surfers from dawn to dusk. The pool and hot tub are beautiful and it is a short walk to great restaurants and to get morning coffee!
The roads are rough but that is the norm for the area.
Close to beach and nice staff
Very comfortable quality beds

Pros- beautiful location. Great food. Right on the beach.
Cons- very hard uncomfortable bed. Wifi spotty. No tv in the room and everything closes by 8 pm so not much to do. No hair dryer. No coffee in the morning. Nothing is included in the price not even coffee in the morning which you have to go to the bar to get.
The hot tub was lukewarm at best and dirty and we constantly had to ask them to turn the heat up.
We had used the surf and boogie boards a couple of times and then on our last day there was a man demanding payment. We declined. This should absolutely be included in the price of the room.
We stayed 4 nights and there was loud pool and construction noise every morning we didn’t get much sleep. Requested to move for our last two nights unfortunately no wifi in the room for those days. Front desk is hard to access/ no phones so you have to go physically talk to them only during office hours which is like 10 am- 6 pm.

Beautiful quiet spot. Amazing beachfront property.
Beautiful property right in the beach. The rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable.
Always wonderful staff restaurant has amazing food and drinks always clean
We booked in the new buildings that have the Mountain View this time, and what a mistake! The bathroom has just a toilet that is barely walled in with sticks, you can see and hear everything anybody is doing on the toilet from the bed and when we complained that the door wouldn’t stay shut to the bathroom it was passed off like no big deal.
We had a beach front studio and being able to see the surf from bed was pretty incredible! There were a few vegetarian options at the onsite restaurant which were all very tasty.
We booked a taxi from the hotel to take us to Cabo San Lucas and it ended up being $180 USD which was double what our uber cost to get there.
Location, facilities, food
Great location. All the staff are lovely. The inside of the room minus the 120V shock from the bad wiring and furniture that fell on my and lack of dim switches. The pool is an extraordinary feature. Also the hot tub is not (hot). It would be nice if it was hot and the cafe needs fans installed for the intense bug attack constantly while eating or working (*since they need to buy extenders/repeaters and the Starlink works great by the pool but you can't even check email in the rooms).
My stay started off badly when they refused to refund 50% of one canceled night, even though I canceled within the Booking.com window. A one-year credit would’ve been fair, but instead, I left feeling used and disrespected.
Then, when I asked the reservations staff for the most affordable way to arrive from the airport, they told me the “best and cheapest” option was a $200 private taxi. That wasn’t true. Once I stepped outside the airport, there were 30 drivers offering rides for $150, and Uber from the OXXO across the street was around $125. The staff’s response felt dishonest and predatory. If someone asks for the cheapest option, just tell the truth—don’t upsell.
Because of that, I lost trust. It’s unfortunate because the on-site staff (waiters, cleaners, etc.) were actually wonderful—kind, hard-working, and genuinely caring. The location is gorgeous, the pool is huge and beautiful, and the food was excellent. My room was spacious, clean, with a nice coffee maker, fridge, good fan, and cold A/C.
However, there were many issues that made the stay frustrating:
No internet in my room (23-B) — Wi-Fi only works near the Starlink by the pool, where it’s hot and buggy. Please fix that or add outdoor fans so guests can work comfortably.
Room placement — My unit was hidden down an alley beside a noisy A/C unit and puddles. It looked like an afterthought for Booking.com guests. At least label the door (no room number) and cover the A/C unit.
Electrical hazard — The outlet by the bed shocked me in the middle of the night. Needs immediate repair.
Furniture — Drawers are unstable and can fall forward—should be secured to the wall.
Lighting — Needs dimmers and a working fan light.
Cerritos Beach itself is scenic but not beginner-friendly—great for skilled short-boarders in their 20s, but wild and dangerous for anyone else.
LOCATION was amazing! Right on Cerritos Beach. Loved the pool/hot tub area & restaurant right on the beach. We decided to save on price and stay in a room off the beach, but it was modern, very clean & comfortable. Staff service at the pool was great.
Sadly, the pool was closed one of the two days we were there. Also, the hot tub was cool and due to pool being closed became a fun pool for kids, so it was very full of sand from their feet. I would suggest one of the two hot tubs to be adult only.
Location
Value for money. Somewhat expensive.
Small Hotel at beachfront.
Our room was in the 2nd row of houses with no view to beach.
