Pros:

I often stay in Budapest and have tried many hotels here. I originally planned to stay just one night, but I liked the hotel so much that I extended my stay to three days.
The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, the courtyard has a lovely atmosphere, and the small spa area is very cozy and perfect for relaxing. A beautiful boutique hotel, I would definitely stay here again.

Great location
Pros:

Excellent location. All the key places in Buda and Pest were easy to visit by foot or bus/tram/metro. The hotel was in the attractive Palace District, where a lot of university departments are, making the area feel more local than the core tourist hub where most of hotels are. The hotel styling was understated modern luxury, rather than bling, which we liked. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was very spacious and quiet. The breakfast was good, especially the eggs freshly cooked to order. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if revisiting Budapest.

Exceptional service in a beautiful small luxury hotel
Pros:

We loved everything about this hotel. From the moment we stepped inside and were welcomed with a glass of sparking wine until we left we were looked after so well by the wonderful staff. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed and decorated and has an air of calm throughout. The spa and gym facilities are first rate and the breakfast fantastic. We also enjoyed some lovely drinks and food in the relaxing bar area. But it is the amazing staff which really make this place.

Great choice for Budapest
Pros:

Lovely staff! Appreciated the welcome drink and travel ticket on arrival (and the birthday treat!). The location of the hotel was great - very quiet. Easy for taxi pick up and drop off and walkable to many areas and sights. The beds and pillows were fairly comfortable, and whatever laundry detergent they use smells gorgeous! As a light sleeper I had no issues with noise at all which was excellent.

The spa area is lovely with a massive sauna. The pool table area is also excellent - we had many games to end and start the day. Also loved the breakfast!! The best omelettes!

Overall, great place to stay.

Cons:

We kindly received a room upgrade on arrival to room 13, however, it wasn't entirely clear to me what aspect of the room was considered an upgrade and I wish this had been clarified to manage expectations. It was in the heritage building which was nice but seemed like a smaller or more cramped layout compared to the pictures of the room we booked online. Although it had a wall of windows, it was also darker since for privacy we needed to close the curtains across the whole room. It had a small balcony area, but this was a bit of a redundant space. The bathroom was dark with dim light which made it tricky to get ready, and the shape of the bath meant you couldn't really lay back and relax. There was also nowhere to put your toiletries when getting a bath, other than the floor. I also missed having the usual bar soap and flannels available. I did like the separate closed off shower and toilet though.

As frequent tea and coffee drinkers, we ended up having to buy our own bigger mugs for the hotel room because the ones provided are tiny.

Pros:

Very nice staff. Room was very spacious and nicely decorated.
Very good breakfast. Location is in walkable distance to the city center.

Cons:

Didn’t spend too much time in the room so it wasn’t such a big issue but the view from the room was towards an inside courtyard towards a wall.

There was a lack of hooks in the bathroom (to hang toiletry ect)
I did not get a new set of towels after the cleaning staff took my used ones, even though as I asked the front desk
