Das Hotel ist einfach wunderschön !
Für einen sehr frankophilen Menschen wie mich perfekt ! Man könnte glauben, man sei in Paris. Tortue ist auch als Name perfekt gewählt ! Entschleunigung, Genuss, schöne Details bewundernd. Brilliant !

By far the most pleasant hotel in Hamburg.
Pros:

Fantastic location. Highly competent and friendly staff. Spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Best breakfast in Germany, possibly Europe. Dinner in the brasserie was relaxed and delicious. Very good value for top luxurious experience.

Pros:

At breakfast, there was a large piece of glass in my napkin, which cut my finger. In response, they offered a free breakfast. After I returned home, I contacted the hotel to ask whether they believed this was handled appropriately, and they said they did.

I feel that such a potentially catastrophic incident should have been treated with greater care and attention. I will think twice before visiting again, especially with children.
