Pros:

We liked how clean and stylish it was, it Ld been recently renovated and we were given a sea view room. We appreciated the air con given how hot it was during our stay. The location was good near the town and seafront. The breakfast choices were very good

Cons:

The bathroom was a bit too much on the small side and the colour on the walls were too garish and could do with a change to reflect the room aesthetics.
We felt the staff were not very friendly or smiley. The lifts were not working on one occasion and we were on the top floor.

Freundlicher Empfang. Die Klimaanlage ist prima bei den aktuellen Temperaturen von ca. 35 Grad. Es gibt eine Bar mit Lounge und ein Restaurant. Man kann auch draußen sitzen.
Motorräder können rund ums Monument beim Hotel gratis geparkt werden.
Bügeleisen und -Brett sind im Zimmer, sowie ein Kühlschrank.
Der Caesar Salat war gut.

Cons:

Ich habe noch nie solch schmale Gänge in einem Hotel gesehen. Wenn man den falschen Lift nimmt, muss man durch viele schmale Gänge und Türen gehen. Mühsam! Und es zeigt nicht an, ob der Lift unterwegs ist.
Das Zimmer war sehr klein für den Preis.
Der Seifenspender im Bad hat nicht funktioniert. Es hatte keine Klobürste.

Very enjoyable stay, we’ll be back
Pros:

Excellent location with beautiful views, lovely and clean, fantastic air conditioning on an extremely hot day, beds are very comfortable, rooms are large and decorated really nicely.

Cons:

I wouldn’t include the breakfast in future, the bacon and black pudding were very over cooked.

Beware the "Cosy Double"
Pros:

Location on cliffs, easy walk along the promenade and to restaurants and attractive pubs.

Cons:

After abandoning our accommodation in Whitstable due to the water shortage, I booked a room on the day for a night at the hotel. It was sold as a "cosy double" on booking.com. but on seeing room (305 I think) we rejected it because it was so small it was only possible to get into the bed on on side. Basically it was a single room being sold as a double. Unacceptable, especially for an IHG brand hotel.
The front desk staff resolved the issue and relocated us to a standard double, which was a very good room.
