I liked where it was located.

Cons:

The parking situation is ridicilous .. you pay so much money and you don't have convienient parking. With all the vast parking they claim tp have it took us over 30 mins to get a parking. We littlerly had to wait people out to park. Also, I have never been to a hotel room where you can here other visiters above you and next to you clearly moving around, it was like being in a bad apartment.

Wonderful choice for a romantic weekend getaway!
Pros:

Hollander Hotel is a beautiful historic hotel from 1933 that takes you back in time to St. Petersburg throughout the decades. The mostly black and white photos of places like the old "Million Dollar Pier," the original Sunshine Skyway, and old downtown took me back to when I was a child growing up in St. Pete. The hotel is within easy walking distance to many landmarks, such as the historic banyan tree, Williams Park, and Mirror Lake. I loved the fact that the decor retained much of its original detail and charm, while complementing that with a fun color scheme in the rooms. There is a gas fireplace in the reception area that is constantly burning, even in mid-July! The pool area is lovely and inviting. My husband and I enjoyed dinner and drinks in the exceptional inhouse restaurant, and got breakfast treats from the hotel's coffee shop adjacent to the restaurant. Would highly recommend for a romantic weekend getaway!

Pros:

Our bartender Vince was great. We stopped by the bar instead and enjoyed a drink. Then later was out by the pool and ate at the bar. He gave us excellent service. There was another lady behind the bar who was excellent as well and I'm sorry I didn't get her name.

Cons:

It was perfect. I will come again.
