Pros:

We were greeted with a very friendly smile from Bill at the front desk. He was very helpful with putting a bottle of champaign in our room upon arrival as it was our 10yr wedding anniversary. The Tap Room served an excellent breakfast!

Cons:

The bathroom was very small and making it a bit difficult to do hair/makeup.

Pros:

We liked the location, very nice and safe feeling area. The hotel was very clean and nice. The bed was comfortable. Will at the front desk was super helpful and friendly.

Cons:

We had to change our room due to a problem with the room above us, we were given a room with carpeting and we pointed out that we had a pet and wanted a room without carpeting as stated in our reservation. All was well till this point, then someone dropped the ball and never followed up getting us a carpetless room, we waited and waited till we had to go address the problem, nothing was being done about it, which made us late for our appointment for that eveing.

A historic gem in St. Petersburg!!!
Pros:

Very comfortable rooms, bed and property. Rather than dilute the historic charm of this historic hotel, the Hollander leans into it and has retained its’ charm. Such a comfortable and enjoyable stay!!!

Cons:

Slept good but our king bed was crunchy feeling and loud. Not a huge issue. Would still use
