We wanted to end our visit in Italy with some luxury and booked The Suite with jacuzzi: we were not disappointed! Great view over the lake from the terrace and from the jacuzzi, suite is very spacious, bed is so comfortable.
We had dinner there the first night and food was creative and well presented. The beef tartare has been reinvented and was a nice surprise!
Breakfast is a more simple buffet and could be enhanced with more variety of eggs for example. I missed a real Italian cappuccino.
Staff was helpful and friendly.

Having a look at the other rooms. I would come back and select the suite or the room with balcony and lake view on the upper floor.

Cons:

No shelf or cupboard in the bathroom to place my vanity bag.

The perfect place to relax
Pros:

I stayed at La Locanda Del Pontefice after ten days spent in central Rome. It was the perfect place to unwind. Although the weather was not great on the first day of my stay I was happy to stay in my room reading and looking at the beautiful view. It was also the perfect place to explore the Castelli Romani from (as long as you have a car). The staff were all extremely friendly and the food was fabulous. I hope to return in the near future.

Cons:

As someone who is unable to eat dairy it would have been nice to have more dairy free options at breakfast and for dessert.
