Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer frisch renoviert.
Die Unterscheidung zwischen dem ehemaligen Hotel Zum Ziel (jetzt Art-Hotel) und dem neuen Hotel gleichen Namens könnte etwas deutlicher sein.
Die Lage ist für einen Besuch von Basel sehr gut. Parkplätze sind direkt am Hotel vorhanden. Personal ist sehr nett. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und sehr gut.

Bij aankomst was de receptie gesloten, maar na een telefoontje werd dit snel opgelost
Goed bed, prima badkamer en douche. Parkeren op eigen terrein.
Geen lift, twee verdiepingen je koffers omhoog dragen. Geen koffie en thee faciliteiten op de kamer. Vrij kleine kamer.
Gutes Frühstück, freundliche Personal.
Abbiamo soggiornato in questo albergo a gestione familiare a Grenzach-Whylen, una cittadina gradevole e tranquilla in Germania, sul Reno, proprio al confine con la Svizzera e in una posizione molto comoda per raggiungere Basilea. È stata una bellissima scoperta!
Fin dal primo momento si apprezzano la gentilezza, la disponibilità e il calore dei proprietari, che fanno sentire gli ospiti benvenuti e a proprio agio.
L'hotel è stato recentemente rinnovato con grande gusto e attenzione ai dettagli. Gli ambienti sono moderni, funzionali e impeccabilmente puliti. La camera ci ha conquistati per il letto grande e comodissimo, l'armadio dal design originale e intelligente, abat-jour con luci regolabili. Anche il bagno è curato nei minimi particolari, con uno specchio dotato di diverse illuminazioni e funzione anti-appannamento, doccia ampia, getto piacevole, cristalli pulitissimi: dettagli che per una stanza fanno la differenza!
Una menzione speciale merita la ristorazione interna, che propone cucina mediorientale e hamburger. I piatti preparati dalla moglie del proprietario hanno qualcosa di speciale: sono buonissimi, genuini e curati, con quel sapore autentico della cucina di casa che sa conquistare al primo assaggio. Si percepiscono la passione e l'attenzione con cui vengono preparati.
E poi c'è la colazione, davvero eccellente: varia, abbondante e con prodotti di qualità. Dalla frutta fresca al salmone, dall'avocado ai croissant di pasticceria, fino alla possibilità di scegliere un piatto di uova preparato al momento appositamente per l'ospite. Anche i dettagli sono curati, come la selezione dei tè in filtro di tessuto, tutt'altro che scontata. Una colazione che permette di iniziare la giornata con gusto e soddisfazione!
In sintesi, un albergo che unisce pulizia, comfort, modernità, ottima cucina e autentica ospitalità familiare.
Hotel in struttura d'epoca ottimamente ristrutturato ma non c'è l'ascensore.
