The staff were so friendly and could t do enough for you . Our room was fabulous. Large , very comfortable and super clean. It was tucked away in a side street so very quiet but extremely close to restaurants.
In spite of saying they had them , there was no bar or restaurant at the hotel .

This hotel has the most friendly and attentive staff in the world. The whole time I travelled in China, I wished I had these guys with me to help out ;) haha. They thought of everything, using a handy translator to always make sure we had what we needed. They advise on everything and can arrange travel at the drop of a hat. They just do whatever it takes to make sure you experience Zhanjiajie and Wulingyuan - you can tell they're very proud of their home. Enjoying a beer with them to reflect on culture and travel was especially wonderful. What a treat this place is!
The hotel itself is really gorgeous, with a lot of interesting artifacts around pertaining to tea and calligraphy.
The breakfast is wonderful. They also make fantastic coffee and tea. For example, we had an oily hotpot the night before and they made us a medicinal tea to help us feel less greasy. You really couldn't ask for better hosts!
The whole experience was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. The breakfast room with the old Chinese lady preparing the food was phenomenal. Location of the hotel in the city center was very convenient. Enjoyed my stay very much .

Тепло, чисто.Бесплатный трансфер из аэропорта в отель, и обратно до аэропорта отвезли на комфортной машине.2 дня подряд свозили на ужин на машине бесплатно.В день приезда постирали вещи бесплатно.Хотя завтрак до 10 часов, по нашей просьбе приготовилт завтрак после 10.Персонал очень внимательный, особенно , хочу отметить Хуан Яоцзюнь и Хуан Лонг, очень отзывчивые ребята.Все организовали на высшем уровне.
Когда выходишь из номера , в коридоре холодно( на улице осень-ноябрь), Завтрак на 3 этаже, идти по лестнице, которая открытая( не в помещении).Ванна по середине комнаты , тоже не очень удобно
I liked the design. The hotel room needed air conditioning. I’d like spa options like massage. The in room tea ceremony was wonderful. The staff brought me dinner, snacks, bottle of wine, treats.

Place is lovely, the staff is incredibly kind and keen to help you in any possible way. I strongly recommend this if you like to be pampered
The private villa has glasses but no windows, so if you are claustrophobic, choose another room
I was upgraded to a suite and the room was incredible. Lots of space, comfortable bed, really nice bath with bath salts and good location along the riverbank. Huang took care of me really well taking me to all of the tourist places and making the trip really special. Highly recommend.

This hotel was clearly designed with quite a lot of thought. It has some lovely furniture, some tatami spaces fitted with replica antiques for contemplation and sipping tea, and the rooms are large and clean. It was quiet and peaceful. The service was great - from the very friendly people preparing and serving us breakfast to the Manager arranging park tickets and driving us around at all hours, plus his colleague helping us get some medicines. We were given lovely fruit platters and cold drinks on arrival
It’s close to the East gate of the Forest park and there also loads of places to eat nearby.
We had a lovely stay but couldn’t help thinking that the building needed a bit more maintenance and care. This might include more thought on how traditional style furniture could be better placed with respect to the inevitable huge TV screens. The overhead lighting is completely out of keeping with the original design. Some of the outside spaces and the calligraphy room need to be tidied up. Some of the drapes need a refresh. Some of the mats and rugs need to be replaced. None of this should deter people from coming here, but rather these are things that could restore more of the ‘wow’ factor to this place - which is the main difference from the faceless large domestic hotels down the road.
