Terrific place to stay off the busy Nairobi hustle.
Pros:

Next to a somewhat noisy airport but quiet and relaxing nonetheless, with plenty of nostalgic/historical value. Food was reasonably priced and very good overall.

Cons:

A bit hard to access for some of our drivers coming from outside the airport.

The room was really cold and the aircon warm setting didn’t work. Asked at front desk for it to be fixed but couldn’t be so got a blanket. Rooms a bit basic.

pour les passionnés d'aviation comme moi c'est un lieu magique et plein d'histoire. situé sur un petit aéroport secondaire de Nairobi vous pouvez assister à leur balai dans la journée. pas de vol la nuit. lieu magnifique rempli d'histoire et dans son jus. un véritable musée. très bon bar et restaurant. super chambre confortable

Everything about my stay was amazing, honestly, a 100/10 experience
Cons:

The rooms are exactly as pictured, if not even better. The property itself is beautiful, with lovely greenery throughout, and you’d be surprised by how peaceful and quiet the rooms are considering how close the hotel is to the airport. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day, with particular attention paid to insect and mosquito prevention, which I really appreciated.

The additional services are also incredibly affordable. I am travelling between countries that are not my home country, so I made frequent use of the laundry service, and the pricing was very fair, and the service was excellent.

The restaurant and bar are another highlight. The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and the staff are wonderful. They also occasionally have entertainment, which adds a really nice atmosphere to the experience.

And for an aviation junkie, this hotel is an absolute dream! The restaurant has a great view of the airport, so you can sit, enjoy your meal, and watch and listen to planes taking off and landing. It’s such a lovely experience and definitely one of my favourite things about the hotel.

Most importantly, the staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and always willing to help. You genuinely feel looked after throughout your stay.

Overall, this was a 100/10 experience for me. I absolutely loved my stay and will definitely be back!

Hotel con solera, buenas habitaciones y mejor comida
Pros:

La comida está muy bien y la relación calidad-precio es muy buena. El personal es muy amable y los servicios son muy buenos. Se nota que es un hotel relativamente antiguo, pero está muy bien conservado y actualizado. Se duerme muy bien a pesar de estar en el aeródromo de Wilson.

Cons:

En el restaurante se oye más de lo que parece el ruido de las avionetas, aunque es normal al tratarse del aeropuerto. Sin embargo, se puede conversar fácilmente. La ventana del baño permitía el paso de mosquitos porque es antigua, y aunque tiene una mosquitera, no ajustaba bien por un lado, por lo que tuvimos que cerrar la ventana por las noches. Pero con eso se solucionaba el problema de los mosquitos en la habitación.

Cannot think of a better place to stay when flying to/from Wilson
Pros:

So warm and welcoming. Incredible staff, delicious food and perfectly located for an early flight from Wilson Airport. Even served bar food for a late check-in. Would return in a heartbeat.

A wonderfully unique stay full of old-world charm and the magic of watching planes take off and land
Pros:

I absolutely loved my one-night stay at the Aero Club of East Africa. The old-world character of the place gives it a charm that modern hotels simply can’t replicate.

The garden was a real highlight — the perfect spot to enjoy dinner and a drink while watching planes take off and land right in front of you. There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about the whole experience.

A unique place with plenty of character, atmosphere and a fantastic location. I would happily stay here again.
