Highly recommend.
Pros:

The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was amazing, with a great selection and overall quality.

Cons:

I had a very pleasant stay at Amari Colombo.

My only concern relates to security at the hotel entrance. Given Sri Lanka’s history of terrorist attacks, I believe security screening at hotels should be taken very seriously. During my stay, I noticed that not all guests entering the hotel appeared to be consistently screened or checked. This raises a security concern, as potentially dangerous or prohibited items could be brought into the hotel without being detected.

I would strongly recommend that the hotel review and strengthen its entrance security procedures and ensure that screening is carried out consistently for everyone entering the premises.

Apart from this security concern, I have no negative comments about the hotel. I genuinely enjoyed my stay and was very satisfied with the cleanliness, breakfast, and especially the friendliness of the staff.

The ocean view

Cons:

Many things, including the service, the very small and basic gym, the wait time for elevators, the overpriced top floor restaurant (quality does not match prices), very small pool and limited sunbeds. Hand towels were missing in the rooms for 4 days, had to prompt housekeeping.

Schöner Aufenthalt
Pros:

Ein riesiges Frühstücksbuffett, welches wahrlich keine Wünsche offen lässt. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, direkt am Meer und zentral in Colombo gelegen. Die RooftopBar ist wirklich schön, man hat einen schönen Ausblick auf die Stadt. Der Service in der Bar war sehr gut, wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Cons:

Der Pool ist zwar wunderschön, man hat einen schönen Ausblick, allerdings gibt es nur wenige Liegen und keinen Schatten (keine Schirme wegen dem Wind). Laut spielende und rufende Kinder - das ist halt immer etwas anstrengend.

Un soggiorno eccellente sotto ogni punto di vista!
Pros:

Ho soggiornato all'Amari Colombo durante il mio viaggio da solo in Sri Lanka e non potevo chiedere di meglio. L'accoglienza e la professionalità dello staff sono state impeccabili.

La Camera: Semplicemente "da paura". Io avevo quella con Vista sullo skyline di Colombo mozzafiato (spettacolare la Lotus Tower illuminata di notte), letto e cuscini comodissimi e un bagno top con una doccia fantastica.

Ristorazione: Ho provato praticamente tutto: la colazione, entrambi i ristoranti dell'hotel e il cocktail bar. Tutto perfetto, qualità altissima e grande varietà.

Posizione: Ottima. Teoricamento si può girare comodamente a piedi per la zona e per raggiungere il lungomare

Consigliatissimo a chiunque: viaggiatori singoli, coppie o chi viaggia per lavoro. Un'esperienza da 5 stelle piene!
