Stop over stay
Pros:

Easy check in super friendly staff parking very close!
Bed was so comfy!!

Cons:

Bathroom needs an upgrade maybe change the bath shower situation so you dont need a curtain. Clean though

Pros:

I liked that at night, the hotel was quiet. As I was staying by myself, I found the hotel and the area very safe. There was also a good amount of parking available

nice hotel
Cons:

unfortunately there was a generator operating all night long which kept me awake coupled with me not enjoying the pillows I hardly slept at all , I feel in fairness the pillows were good just not to my liking

Pros:

Fantastic stay at Burt’s Hotel. Stayed one night in a single room, bed was lovely and comfy, room was clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious! Service was excellent. Would happily stay here again.

It was very convenient for public transport. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was good.

Nothing really. I might have like a bit less cereal for breakfast or to choose my own amount.

I will return!
Pros:

Bedroom was very clean and bright. Food especially at dinner was excellent and tasty. Service was very good and staff friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The chair in the bedroom wasn't great but acceptable. A very small thing when compared to the overall package.

Wedding trip accommodation
Pros:

On arrival into Melrose it was a lovely little town, the hotel was easy to find and was situated on the main high street, looked lovely from the outside

Cons:

The only thing that was a downside was from the smell off fish from the restaurant throughout the hotel.

Perfect Scottish hospitality in a lovely location
Pros:

I’m a big fan of Burt’s hotel. It’s a good example of a family run 3 star hotel that combines warm hospitality, great food and immaculate accommodation at a reasonable price. Great hospitality in the heart of the beautiful Scottish Borders. Keep up the good work guys!

Pros:

Comfortable room in quiet location, staff and management were very welcoming and attentive. The catering was to a high standard with the salmon starter at dinner a highlight. Location is very central and the private parking is a real plus.

Pros:

Breakfast was a must. Thank you for allowing us to dine earlier as we had work commitments which started early that day.

room was small but as advertised, rate was quite high for the room size but worked for a single traveller.
