Grand Galata Hotel & Spa

Breakfast was just wonderful. We liked it very much indeed. The service was helpful. We appreciated valuable advices of Ozge and the entire team composed of Mervan, Hilal, Emre. We liked also helpfulness of Hasan in the breakfast room.

I really liked the service of Grand Galata, in particular Ozge (providing valuable informations), Mervan, Hilal, Emre and also Hasan during breafasts. Great team! I was for a first time in Turkey and I am positively surprised by the service provided.

Great location to enjoy Istanbul from - really comfortable clean rooms and friendly staff. Good restaurant at the top with fab views and the spa pool was a treat at the end of a long hot day

I really enjoyed the breakfast and the spa area, I have bad allergies so the steam room actually helped me so much more than I thought it would. The staff was extremely accommodating and kind, and everything was seamless. The hotel feels very safe and the air conditioning made my stay very enjoyable, especially with the heat wave that was going on during my stay. Overall 10/10 experience.

We chose this hotel for a special bachelorette celebration, and it turned out to be the perfect choice for such an occasion. All the places and activities we had planned were within walking distance, which made exploring Istanbul very convenient.

The hotel itself offers a wide range of facilities and services. The breakfast and room service were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented — a real highlight of our stay. The rooftop restaurant offers a breathtaking view of Istanbul and creates a very special atmosphere. In addition to breakfast, it works as a bar until 11:00 PM, and we were even kindly allowed to enjoy the space after closing one evening, which was such a lovely gesture.

On our last day, we enjoyed the pool and sauna, which were a wonderful way to relax before leaving. The hotel also offers a gym, conference facilities, and massage rooms.

We would like to express our special gratitude to the entire team for their care, patience, and truly five-star service. Every member of the staff contributed to making our stay unforgettable.

A special thank you to the reception team: Sena for her professional customer service, Emre for his warm personality and unforgettable blue eyes, Omer for his style, humor, and friendliness, and to the hotel manager Baris for the kind invitation to enjoy the bar even after closing time.

Our thanks also go to the bartender Mervan for his friendliness and incredible attention to detail, and to the duty manager Umut for teaching us some Turkish phrases and for the lovely surprise of a bottle of champagne delivered to our room.

And, most importantly, a huge thank you to our “knight” Sabri, who elevated the level of service to a true wow experience. His dedication, kindness, and attention made our stay truly exceptional.

Overall, we had a memorable stay and truly appreciated the atmosphere, location, and hospitality of the hotel.
