Pros:

The owners of the property are super nice and helpful. Place is super clean and well organized. Hotel is well located 15 min walk to center and 5 min from best brunch place in town (Chepiche cafe)

Great location, clean, and friendly staff!
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was nice and clean. Good amenities, including drinking water was freely available in the communal area, plenty of space for plugs, lighting by bedside stc

Cons:

We had a room facing the front of the building. At times the road could be a little noisy, but not too bad

Pros:

We loved the neighborhood and the art, cafés and bakeries there. The room was spacious.

Cons:

The shower had either super hot or super cold water. We asked for a quiet room and got a room facing the street. The street in front is a cobbled street with a lot of traffic that kept us awake for most of the night. It was particularly bad in the morning. The bed was not comfortable

Nice property but disappointing room
Pros:

Best thing about the property is the location and roof terrace, it’s only a 20 minute pleasant walk into the city centre past plenty of interesting street art and the roof terrace is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Cons:

The rooms are a lot more tired than the pictures look, though this may have been because we booked a deluxe double room but instead got given a triple room. The room also only had an internal window that overlooked reception so we couldn’t open our curtains and didn’t have any external light. Personally I feel this should be clearly advertised when booking a room as I wouldn’t book a room where this was the case. We were also right by reception which was very noisy, we were woken up early by people talking or the front door. This meant we didn’t particularly enjoy our stay, but another room on a higher floor would have been more pleasant.

Pros:

The staff was fantastic. Emilio was extremely helpful. He told us what to do to get medical care when my wife fell and injured her wrist. He insisted we take an umbrella on our visit to Monte Alban and we really appreciated it as it kept us cool in the hot sun. Our room was immaculate every day we returned in the afternoon. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked pefectly.

Cons:

The coffee offered was not good. I ended up using instant coffee I had brought with me.

Quello che più ci ha colpito è la gentilezza e la simpatia di Emilio è un host davvero fantastico!
Tutto molto pulito e ben pensato ci siamo trovati davvero bene!
Fuori dal centro ma raggiungibile in 15 minuti a piedi di piacevole camminata.

We felt at home thanks to the amazing owners & staff! Ricardo really treated us like family & we couldn’t imagine our trip without him. Unique, historic, local neighborhood & very walkable & safe! Comfortable beds! The thoughtful rooftop & balcony are lovely common areas to spread out & enjoy the fresh air. Highly recommend staying here during your visit to Oaxaca! If we could give more than 10 stars we would!!

L’emplacement est top: le quartier Xochimilco est très joli, calme, à 25 minutes à pied du centre. Mais tout est faisable à pied et il y’a de supers boulangeries/ restos/ cafés dans le quartier .
Le personnel est très gentil, toujours prêt à aider. C’est vraiment un bel endroit que nous recommandons!

Fantastic amenities and service but location not ideal for us.
Pros:

we really enjoyed the friendly owners who were so very helpful. Also, the property is updated and very well done. We loved having morning coffee, prepared as well as ice and a water station. While we did not use the hot tub, we did go up to the upper deck twice. The item such as bath towels are up excellent quality as are the bath products. The AC was fantastic as was the room service.

Cons:

we were not crazy about the location of the property. It is too far away from everything you wanted to get to. It took us 45 minutes of walking whenever we wanted to go to the center. Also, there were only a couple of restaurants nearby. Lastly, we had dogs barking at night and neighbor noise if you kept the window open.
