Lovely period property with character, good sized rooms & very comfortable, nice views over the estuary & convenient for sightseeing around Anglesey

Cons:

Small issue with shower not draining off quick enough to prevent excess water on floor but staff were going to sort it once we made them aware of problem

Dissappointed with staffs attitude
Pros:

The room waa nice

Cons:

The attitude on the male staff member in the morning who I think may have been the chef.
As I went to get a latte which i didnt know was seperate to the self service breakfast. Oh he made it quite clear I shouldnt be doing that and i would be charged while pointing his finger towards the other drinks selection,. The was my 2nd stay in a 2 week period however on this occassion I had a quick cup of coffee and then left without having breakfast as I was that annoyed. He was nothing but rude!!!

The hotel exceeded expectations
Pros:

The location was excellent, ideal for exploring the island. The doggy friendly room was perfect with a little balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and Dinner food choices were very good. Bar staff were also friendly and attentive.

Lovely overnight stay, lovely staff, I will deffinately be returning
Pros:

Staff were amazing especially the lady on the desk for checking in and the 2 ladies in the morning serving breakfast. Excellent service with a smile and making conversation, really nice people.

Everything was lovly ,breakfast was lovly ,view was lovly,gardens nice and tidy well maintained. The room was so nice and clean,

The only thing was no slip mats in the bathroom, at my age I need them lol

Cons:

The waiter needs to be trained on how to present a bottle o f wine when serving it at the table not just plonk it on the table and walk off leaving the customer with a bottle they cant open

Wonderful and just what we needed.
Pros:

Breakfast choice was good.

Cons:

The evening meal service was extremely slow, they were very busy and we waited almost 30 minutes for our starter choice. They did apologise and told us we weren't being charged as a result of the wait.

Enjoyed our stay, lovely room tho on the small side sadly with a standard double rather than queen.
Pros:

Lovely extended ground floor bar and restaurant area overlooking Menai straits. Very relaxing ambience

Cons:

Restricted hotel parking, although other car parks nearby.
