Location, views, food, staff, room
breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly
Our room was over kitchens we could hear noisy extractors
2nd visit - We booked again for the Anglesey 10k
Top floor room with little balcony- lovely view
Nice, compact room
Shower nice
Room was very warm - heating dial wouldn’t lower the heat
Sandwich meal on the lunch was luke warm - chicken & steak - frozen bland chips were tasteless - shame as sounded nice on the menu
The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are well furnished and some have great views over the Menai Straits. The restaurant area is spacious leading on to an excellent terrace area with views. The bar is nicely furnished but can be busy. The staff are helpful. The hotel is a very good all round performer.
The Victoria combines a local pub and dining venue with a hotel. This can mean the car park is often full ( pay parking near by) and the bar very busy. Although there were unoccupied tables in the restaurant area, the staff reserved these strictly for walk in diners so it was difficult to find a seat for a drink on a busy Saturday night. A little more flexibility on seating would be helpful at busy times
Location. Bar and restaurant very nice with a great view of the Menai Straits. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Slightly unfortunate that they were doing building works at the time which resulted in some noise at night for periods. Most disruptive to be honest.
We loved our stay it was comfortable warm and very welcoming lovely room and great views
Everything was perfect
Great staff, great location, clean, well appointed, good parking.
Bathroom was slightly tight, but it was clean and functional and didn’t spoil our trip.
It’s all good
Only the smallest and most unimportant thing made the stay only a smidgeon less than perfect and that was only lukewarm water in the shower, sorry to mention it but I have to be honest. It never warmed up over the four showers I took. Strange because the bath water was hot. But, as I say, a really minor thing, sorry to have mentioned it.
Excellent breakfast. Staff brilliant
Room a little dark. Couldnt turn htg down.

Mostly friendly staff odd exception
Noise from below kitchen extractor fans n door opposite said private that seemed busy
Lovely period property with character, good sized rooms & very comfortable, nice views over the estuary & convenient for sightseeing around Anglesey
Small issue with shower not draining off quick enough to prevent excess water on floor but staff were going to sort it once we made them aware of problem
Everything, we have stayed hear many times now, and never disappoints.
Nothing
The room waa nice
The attitude on the male staff member in the morning who I think may have been the chef.
As I went to get a latte which i didnt know was seperate to the self service breakfast. Oh he made it quite clear I shouldnt be doing that and i would be charged while pointing his finger towards the other drinks selection,. The was my 2nd stay in a 2 week period however on this occassion I had a quick cup of coffee and then left without having breakfast as I was that annoyed. He was nothing but rude!!!
The location was excellent, ideal for exploring the island. The doggy friendly room was perfect with a little balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and Dinner food choices were very good. Bar staff were also friendly and attentive.
