Excellent location
Pros:

The location is great ( be aware of hill and steps) Views from dining room and our room lovely. Breakfast excellent. Owner really friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom both a good size. During the Summer...bar tables outside. On road to Panorama, a lovely ( steep in places) walk. Also opposite Barmouth Bridge and a short walk to the town centre and beach. Was lovely and quiet, so we slept well.

Cons:

I would only say it may be a challenge for disabled or those with mobility issues (I would phone owner for advice) and families with young children due to steps and steep hill down to the main road. The main road has quite narrow paths and it can get busy. Beyond that it's an excellent choice of place to stay and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful hotel, stunning views and great host.
Pros:

Amazing view from our room. Comfy room, great bathroom, plenty of space. Host was really helpful and there was lots of facilities at the hotel like outside seating, lounge and bar, even through we didn't use them. Short walk into town, although it is a step climb back again. Excellent breakfast. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

Cons:

Not much wrong. No one there when we arrived, but our key was left out with instructions, so not really a problem.

Faultless
Pros:

Great elevated location with lovely gardens & views over the bay but only a short walk down into town. Spacious room, enormous comfy bed, fabulous power shower, friendly & efficient staff, very well stocked honesty bar in a large & comfy guest lounge. Excellent range of cooked breakfasts as well as a vast array of healthy fruit options on offer. Really can't fault the place especially at such a reasonable price.

Cons:

There is nothing not to like.

Pros:

Gary was a welcoming host. The location and views are superb. The scenery is breathtaking.
We didn't take our dogs on this occasion. We will return with our furries. We have been assured they will be most welcome in the room and for breakfast.
Talking of which...it is the best breakfast we have ever had. Nothing was a problem.
Gary is exceptional.
The sea view double we were allocated was large, with an extra large bed, with a lovely bathroom.

Cons:

NOTHING to dislike.
