The hotel is in a very good location. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The Booking.com rating of 9.1 is unfortunately overstated. I've stayed in many hotels with lower Booking.com ratings, and this one is definitely one of the worst. The biggest disappointment was the basement room. VERY dark and cold. We couldn't even tell how the weather was outside. Such rooms should be priced differently. A night at the hotel for a triple room is listed at 5900 TL (approximately 112 Euro) at the reception.. For 4 nights, I paid 520 euros, which, even with a very unfavorable exchange rate, is more than the listed price. The room is not worth the price. For this price you do not expect to be located in a basement next to the room with cleaning stuff. We were given one complimentary bottle of water for three people. The rest was charged. Even the ashtray with cigarettes on the terrace (the exit overlooking the wall) wasn't cleaned. And we had to be careful not to get slop from the upstairs floor on our heads. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. A basement room isn't our cup of tea.

Pros:

I really loved this hotel — it was even better than expected. Perfect central location, beautiful and very clean rooms, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Everything felt neat and well taken care of. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend it for a stay in Istanbul.

Ubicación excelente . Personal muy amable cercaco y siempre dispuesto a solucionar cualquier problema o duda. Habitaciones muy cómodas y espaciosas. Limpieza excelente. Desayuno muy bueno. Terraza con vistas a la Mezquita Santa Sofía. En general hemos tenido una estancia fantástica para repetir

Kiváló, csendes, tiszta hotel
Pros:

Rendkívüli közelség a Sultanahmet térhez és a T1 villamos vonalához.Csendes kis utcában, kedves éttermek sokasága, melyek között pénztárcához mérten válogathat bárki.Pici hotel, maximális tisztaság!Az ágy matraca kiváló!

Minden tetszett, esetleg a reggeli kicsit lehetne bőségesebb kínálatu, de ami volt az finom volt.

Das Nowy Efendi Hotel war perfekt für unseren Aufenthalt in Istanbul
Pros:

Wir haben uns im Nowy Efendi Hotel sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist perfekt, mitten in der Altstadt und man kann viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Wir haben überhaupt kein Taxi benötigt, weil auch der öffentliche Nahverkehr gut erreichbar ist. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Aussicht aus dem Frühstücksraum auf die Stadt ein wunderschön. Wir hatten als Familie zwei Doppelzimmer mit Verbindungstüre, was perfekt war. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals. Tipp: Der Flughafentransfer, den das Hotel für uns organisiert hatte, hat prima geklappt!

Cons:

Es war alles prima und so wie wir es erwartet haben.
