great place to say. beautiful gardens, lovely people.
Pros:

everything was great. the breakfasts, afternoon teas, dinner - lots of thought went into the gardens which were beautifully maintained. I went to complete writing a book. it was the perfect place.

Cons:

it was all good. I soon got used to the morning call to prayer from nearby mosques.

De villa en omgeving. Mooi tuin, sfeervol ingericht villa. Personeels zijn aardig.

Cons:

Geluiden van moskee heel vroeg in de ochtend tegenstrijdig met hoe mooi en sereen het hotel overdag is. Het ontbijt is te weinig variatie en portie voor de westers. Ook smaak is of te zout of te veel knoflook. Terwijl Javaanse keuken moet heerlijk en divers zijn.

Vriendelijke mensen in een op het oog prachtig verblijf met een heerlijk ontbijt/eten

Het ontbijt was echt fantastisch en de mensen waren ontzettend aardig, behulpzaam en lief. Het lag mooi en ons verblijf zag er mooi uit.

Cons:

Het verblijf was niet zo goed onderhouden. Overal waren er kieren. Ze waarschuwen voor de moskee naast het verblijf en ze leggen oordopjes klaar. Maar het is echt enorm aanwezig midden in de nacht, alsof ze in je slaapkamer staan. Echt oorverdovend. En ook waren er veel hanen die in de nacht herrie maakte. Overdag wordt er ook vuil verbrand waar we echt last van hadden. Helaas hadden we last van kakkerlakken maar dat kan overal gebeuren. En de gym stelt niets voor.

Het is een prachtig hotel! Mooie tuin met heel veel zit gelegenheid. Zwembad is genoeg alleen 2 ligbedden dat is wel jammer. Eten is goed vriendelijk personeel. De kamer is echt prachtig met een mooi patio zitje .

A beautiful but remote resort

L'endroit est très beau, très agréable, les chambres spacieuses et propres, le personnel super.

Cons:

C'est loin du centre de Yogyakarta, dans un village en banlieue, : avec le trafic, il peut falloir jusqu'à 35-40 mn depuis le centre. C'est un très bel endroit mais pas idéal si vous ne connaissez pas Yogya et que vous voulez la découvrir.
