Pros:

The hotel is very good located, walking distance from a pedestrian muslin quarter, where you can buy souvenirs and eat something.
The hotel itself is located on a closed green garden territory with Sofitel The Legend and Mercure.
The swimming pool is not big and not for more than 2 pax.
No sauna or hammam.
The breakfast has a big variety of both local and international food.
It is not new, but very well maintained.

Eigentlich ein schönes Hotel in der Stadtmitte, aber..
Pros:

Das Hotel ist recht luxuriös. Liegt zentral in der Stadtmitte und über die U-Bahnlinie erreichbar. Zur U-Bahn benötigt man zu Fuß ca 10 Minuten.

Cons:

Und wurde ein Upgrade des Zimmers mit Zusatzkosten angeboten sowie zusätzlichen gratis Angeboten wie Snacks, Happy Hour im 11. Stock. Allerdings sind die Öffnungszeiten so ungeschickt sodass man diese Angebote eigentlich gar nicht nutzen kann. Die Öffnungszeiten sind genau in dem Zeitraum wo die normalen Besucher außerhalb des Hotels Besichtigungen in der Stadt durchführen. Was sich am Anfang sich toll anhört ist schlicht ein Trick, um mehr Geld für das Zimmer zu verdienen.
Die hotelbar und Eingangsbereich ist leider nur sehr ungemütlich insbesondere das Licht. Angeboten Begrüßungsgetränke beschränken sich auf eine sehr kleiner Auswahl. Der ausgewählte Weißwein war katastrophal.

Heerlijk verblijf.
Pros:

Ruime kamer en badkamer. Enorm uitgebreid ontbijt. Heerlijke bedden. Binnen 10 minuten ben je bij de stadsmuur in het centrum.

Disappointing stay
Pros:

The breakfast was good. The concierges were very helpful with organising an early departure and getting to a pharmacy when I needed it.

Cons:

There were so many things that were disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, I was charged a room deposit double the amount of my hotel bill. The hotel is very dated and doesn’t warrant such a high deposit. The carpet in my room was old and stained. There wasn’t a proper coffee machine; only a kettle with coffee sachets. The water next to the kettle is not complimentary, as it turned out when I check out. As other reviewers have noted, the plumbing is poor. Each night, the light in the corridor came on by itself, waking me up. The walls to adjacent rooms are paper thin. I could hear sneezing and raised voices. I had booked this to have access to a pool; however, the area looked so worn out and uninviting that I didn’t use it once. The concierges and the restaurant staff were helpful and professional. However, one of the receptionists was rather intimidating and sharp. I booked this hotel on the basis of its 5-star rating; however, this must be based on its past glory and I would not come here again.

Pros:

El hotel es muy bonito y está bastante bien situado, la habitación es enorme pero se ven los muebles camas y demás un poco antiguo que ya no corresponden a los standares de ahora de hecho el colchón de la cama de matrimonio se volcaba hacia un lado de la cama, dicho eso estábamos en una family suite estupenda y el personal del hotel sobre todo de recepción muy atento

Pros:

Hotel excel·lent, sense cap queixa. Tant els espais comuns com l’habitació són immillorables: una habitació gran, molt còmoda i equipada amb tot luxe de detalls. Es nota en tot moment la cura i l’atenció que posen en l’experiència dels hostes.

El servei és supereficient i molt amable, i a més parlen anglès perfectament, cosa que facilita molt la comunicació. També vam agrair especialment que ens oferissin un bressol de fusta per al nostre nen, que ens va anar molt bé durant l’estada.

L’esmorzar és espectacular i està totalment a l’alçada de la resta de l’hotel, amb molta varietat i molt bona qualitat.

En definitiva, una estada perfecta. No hi tenim cap queixa i, si haguéssim pogut, ens hi hauríem quedat més nits.

Great stay, we only had 1.5 days and should have stayed another day.

The hotel name is listed as reminen square but is seems to be known as the Sofitel Grand which caused confusion for transport.
