Space in Blackstone

The atmosphere was immaculately comfortable, the perfect space to unwind, relax and recenter oneself after a busy day out. Everything felt deliberately peaceful and comfortable. Home away from home.

Beautiful and quiet neighborhood, easy access to restaurants and bus line. The house itself is very charming, the owner is great and very helpful and accommodating

Das Cafe ist sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Besitzer hat an sehr viele praktische Details gedacht - von Regenschirmen, Powerbanks, längere Kofferlagerung am Abreisetag. Die Lage fühlt sich sicher und exklusiv an.

Blackstone is a quiet building nestled in a tranquil, extremely safe middle-class area. The area is a 5-minute walk from the Han River and a lovely promenade extending through some of the best neighborhoods in Seoul. There is a bus stop nearby covering central locations and a mtr station on line 9 (it connects with the green, blue, and other main lines, quite practical), that is also close by.

The space is lovely, quite modern and convenient, and the building, as mentioned, is considerably quiet. The first floor is devoted to a cafe with books from all over the world, which itself is already a luxury. It also provides coffee at a very reasonable price, and the ambiance is always cozy. There is a water and ice dispenser on the same floor as the library. In summer, this will be a total treasure.

My room was located on the ground floor and had a lovely garden. The bed was soft, and the space had its own kitchenette (completely well-equipped with an electric stove and a microwave. Has all neccessary utensils to cook, have coffee/tea, etc.) I recommend this particular room for the level of intimacy and comfort. The restroom had a good size and a shower with good water pressure. Water quality was also good.

The space provides free bike rental. I did not use it due to a knee injury, but I highly recommend it. Specially for the promenade.

The building has appliances such as washing and drying machines at reasonable prices (this is great for long-term travelling)

I would not rate the place as a hotel because it feels more like a home away from home. I never met the staff or the owner, but I did see the owners sometimes visit the space, and they have an Instagram where they update the space's continuity...It could have been great to meet them in person. However, we did communicate through message; they were ALWAYS responsive and supportive. They provided good resolutions to inquiries.

Highly recommended for solo female travelers.

Large space, quiet, had everything we needed for a long stay. It's a bit hilly to walk to station but if you e bike, it's amazing. Also close to hangang river where you can e bike to other suburbs if you don't want to use the subway.

I liked the atmosphere, location and room.

Amazing and magical place. Every time that we came back to the hotel we were so welcomed by the integrated library on the first floor.

The building is very charming and the hosts are very welcoming. It is a quiet place with beautiful views of Seoul from every direction. We are biking across Korea and this charming place was not too far off our route. The hosts graciously allowed us to store our bikes in the garden area.

Calm and private, well connected, amazing host, have the best KFC down the road.
