Nothing everything was just perfect
I love everything about the place. It is perfect to calm down and recharge battery, interiors are wonderful, food delicious and the hospitality of Annemarie and Gerard is infinite. They created a very unique place and I truly recommend it!
This place is a quintessence of peace and harmony. Designed with attention to every detail Finca las Calmas is a unique hotel (or shall I say retreat) on the Andalusian map. Right from the arrival you feel like you are visiting old friends. Anne Marie and Gerard will make you feel the most important and welcomed person in the world. The rooms, dining area and surroundings creatively combine modern architectural style with Balinese Spa. Its Remarkably quiet due to its location in the middle of Olive Oil Orchards but since it’s placed on top of a hill you get to enjoy endless views up to Sierra Nevada snow-capped peaks (I was visiting in Oktober). Very intimate as well as the hosts make sure no more than 3 rooms are occupied at the same time. If you like a type of cuisine where tradition meets modern flair your taste buds are in for a treat! Gerard’s cooking is truly amazing. No need to leave this place for fancy Grenada restaurants - you have the top chef culinary experience on the spot with meals freshly made from local ingredients. He will include all your food intolerances and personal preferences too! I was swept off my feet. I truly recommend this place for anyone searching for great company, amazing food and peaceful sleep and rest.
Annemarie and Gerard are exceptional hosts. Their hotel is a beautiful place and they have enhanced it with their decoration. Gerard's cooking is very good and you won't feel wanting. To be experienced.
