A relaxing stepping stone.
Pros:

Such lovely few days by the pool, at the bar and exploring around. Hotel felt so relaxed and easy.
Staff were great, friendly and extremely helpful.

Cons:

Sink in the room (as opposed to inside the bathroom) was a bit strange.
Lacked full length mirror.

after all those years the Ace Hotel Palm Spring has lost my business. Felt ripped off !

Just as we arrived, we found out the Ace Palm Spring was acquired by a new group. Been going to the Ace for 15 years ... and now price + costs of food / drinks are out of control !! Shocking !! They add a 5% surcharge to everything without us knowing what it's for. A cocktail at 23$!! - ends up costing you 30$+ .... with 5% surcharge / Taxes and Tips. Not worth it !! Also parking is now 10$ as it was free before. New management makes you feel like you are getting ripped off !!

ACE wants you to be a PayPig for an idealized version of laid-back luxury they can't support.
Pros:

The aesthetic and design is great.

Cons:

• I paid for a premium room with a fireplace, but my room was not ready until 90+ minutes after check-in time. While I received drink tickets and food credit, I already had plans that didn't allow me to utilize these 'compensations.' The staff were great and trying their best to be accommodating, but it's clear that this hotel is either poorly managed or they are aggressively short staffed.
• They offer a breakfast coffee service where you place an order the night before and the restaurants delivers it at a specified time in the morning. This never happened. Myself and other guests placed our orders and never received anything or a notice that it wasn't coming.
• The restaurant was understaffed.
• Everything was a long wait.

Cons:

Le cocktail sans alcool … 80% de glaçons à 18 dollars
Le croissant à 12 dollars hors taxes et hors service
Bref les extras nourritures boissons sont trop chers !
Le parking payant que j’ai découvert sur la facture … la réceptionniste ne m’a prévenu à l’arrivée ! Elle m’a juste demandé si j’avais une voiture …
J’ai pas fait attention car les fois precendentes le parking ne m’a jamais été facturé

Would not go back
Cons:

Room was so dirty. When we got to the room there were maggots in the bathroom and by the front door. We had to go to the front desk and they moved us and gave us $75 credit. I felt like that wasn’t enough and it was hard to feel relaxed after that

Comfortable, relaxing, overall great hotel.
Pros:

Loved the room and how cold the ac was and they upgraded us to a suite which was nice

Cons:

There was a private event that excluded us from using the pool where the dj was which was one of the main factors of us booking this hotel so we had to pay to enter that event or use the other pool that didn’t have a dj.

Solid stay in Palm Springs, filled with families
Pros:

Location, mid century design

Cons:

Bathrooms are in deep need of ventilation, smells moldy. Sheets also smelled moldy.
