Breakfast, you should be able to choose what egg, serve atleast 2 toast with butter and jam, but all of costa rica doesn't get European breakfast. Organisation needs some work, training staff to smile and atleast to say welcome when you are the only person coming to the bar, cleaning poolarea every day instead of only when a big table arrives for superbowl... but still enjoyed our stay because of the great room and the great decor all over the accommodation that is small ride to the beach

La primera noche estuvimos en la tienda de campaña y estaba gastada le hace falta una reforma para mi gusto, pero nos pasamos a una habitación al día siguiente y son fabulosas

De kamer vond ik niet goed schoongemaakt, vooral de vloeren/matten zaten nog vol zand. Sanitair was netjes maar geen warm water uit de douche, ook het bad konden we niet dicht doen.

WiFi was not working in our room

Essen war gut, aber lange Wartezeit.

Limited amount of hot water foe the shower, and several mosquitoes in the open bathroom.

We couldn’t quite put our finger on what felt off at first, because it’s clear they’re really trying to create a great experience. But eventually, we realized it felt more like an upscale hostel than a hotel. The rooms are quite basic and very dark, and while the outdoor bathroom isn’t a problem in itself, the mosquitoes definitely are. The staff is kind, but communication can be tricky if you don’t speak Spanish. Housekeeping only happens if you request it, breakfast is very minimal, the music is loud like you’re at a festival (although they change it if you ask for it), and there’s no Wi-Fi in the rooms (too spotty).

Agradecemos mucho que nos permitieran ingresar antes de la hora del check-in, especialmente porque llegamos bajo la lluvia y realmente necesitábamos un lugar donde refugiarnos.

Sin embargo, al llegar se nos informó que existía riesgo de que una rama pudiera caer sobre el vehículo si lo estacionábamos dentro de la propiedad. Entendemos que pueden existir este tipo de riesgos naturales y agradecemos que nos lo advirtieran, pero nos resultó alarmante que no exista ningún tipo de medida preventiva o protocolo de seguridad para brindar tranquilidad al huésped. Más que el hecho de mencionarlo, lo preocupante fue notar que si llegara a ocurrir algún daño, la responsabilidad recaería únicamente sobre el visitante, sin que el establecimiento contemple alguna acción o respaldo ante una situación de ese tipo.

También notamos cierta inconsistencia en la información que se nos brindó previamente. Días antes del check-in consultamos sobre la posibilidad de llegar antes y sobre los horarios del desayuno; se nos indicó que el desayuno era a las 7 a.m., pero al llegar nos informaron que en realidad era a las 8 a.m. Esto afectó un poco el itinerario que ya teníamos planeado, especialmente porque el servicio comenzó alrededor de las 8:30 a.m.

Por otro lado, pedí café y no se nos ofrecieron azúcar ni servilletas, detalle que al principio no consideramos importante hasta que notamos que a otros huéspedes sí les brindaron esa atención. Eso generó cierta incomodidad, ya que la atención se sintió desigual.

En cuanto al check-out, quien nos indicó que debíamos avisar para que revisaran la habitación fue la misma persona que nos recibió y que estuvo presente en las inconsistencias anteriores. Sin embargo, al momento de retirarnos y avisar a la muchacha que encontramos (quien también trabaja en el lugar), ella nos hizo saber que ese proceso de revisión nunca se realizaba, y que simplemente podíamos irnos sin problema.

Bathroom is outside which they do not make clear and you get eaten alive by mosquitoes any time you need to shower or use the toilet. WiFi is very slow. Some sort of liquid that looked like bird feces dripped onto our pillows and sheets. Rain leaked under the door. Breakfast took over 30 minutes to make.
