The main breaker kept popping as soon as we used the hot water for a bit of time (like showers). The attendant was unilingual Spanish, so that delayed things a bit as she had to use a translator on her phone. Unfortunately the road in front is closed so our transport could not find us and we had to take a taxi to Cancun airport.

The room was spacious, the bed was huge, and the rooftop lounge area was really cute! You don't see too much of the ocean from the room because of another building and other structures in front, but the view is a bit better from the rooftop.
The organization of the hotel disrupted the flow of our stay. At no point before my stay was I notified that I needed a four digit pin to access the room. When I arrived, I searched through my emails, Booking.com messages, and Whatsapp, and did not see a pin. The front desk concierge told me they did not have access to this information and told me I needed to contact the manager. I arrived during normal business hours, but the manager took a while to get back to me. Overall, it took an hour to gain access to our room.
Another thing was that we were told towels would be changed every 4 days. This is their housekeeping policy written on the site. However, this did not happen, and when my friend and I asked the front desk staff if we could have two fresh towels, they said they did not have access to the towels.
On our last morning, we ran out of Mexican pesos to pay our taxi driver for our ride to the airport. We asked the front desk staff once again if there was any way they could help us, either by exchanging cash for us and having us e-transfer them, or accepting USD from us (more than the cost of the fare), paying our driver on our behalf, and then exchanging it for themselves later on as our driver was waiting and we did not have time to run to an exchange place. While I understand that us running out of pesos is not their fault, I was overall not impressed with the lack of effort from the front desk staff to help with anything at all during the five nights we stayed over. I'm a bit confused as to what their roles are at the building, if not supporting the guests.
The location is the only positive aspect of this place.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Kaab South Beach in Playa del Carmen (Apartment 407). The room did not match the description—what was supposed to be a private 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit turned out to have an unsealed internal door connecting to another room, causing severe noise and privacy issues. Despite multiple complaints, the hotel was unhelpful and eventually offered a 12% refund, which I found inadequate. Worse still, they never processed this refund, and they have since stopped responding to my messages altogether. I am still waiting for the refund they promised, and their lack of professionalism and customer service is unacceptable.
Perfect location very central, close to food, shops and playacar beach
Jacuzzi on roof was out of service most days due to maintenance.
Wished our patio plunge pool was better maintained , and we had more frequent suite cleaning. Our suite was only cleaned once during our 10 night stay
