Sisi’s place was about the best choice I’ve made!👌 The location is excellent; which makes it very comfortable when you arrive by the train, as almost all of the tourists do. A wonderful swimming beach is located in near walking distance. Restaurants also just a couple of steps away. The room is lovely, comes with a balcony. It’s spacious, and so is the bathroom, that provided me with the shower of the year! Haha. Very strong, hot water. The bed also comfortable and has an extra blanket for the morning when the AC cooled down the room, and you need a little more than a sheet. The AC is not across your bed, which is important to me, because it’s unpleasant to get the air right into your face. Breakfast was also excellent served at a very nice garden setting, and it’s fun how you can watch the trains from your breakfast table. 5 different fresh fruits were available and a variety of yummy food. Lots of extra help was given generously by the host, very much appreciated.I recommend this place to fellow travelers, and I’ll be back. Thank you.

Everything was exelent. Clean and big room, good and big breakfast, very close to the beach. The family is very friendly and helpful. You feel like at home.

Recent refurb so bright, fresh, clean, a comfortable bed and good storage. Excellent breakfast provided by the ever helpful Sissi, (we asked where the nearest currency exchange was, and he insisted on taking us there and back in his tuk tuk, and in the morning of our departure he walked to the nearby rail station, bought our tickets and brought them back to us. Sissis place is a short stroll to the beach and right next to a line of restaurants running alongside the railway track, very novel. A very enjoyable stay.

Exceeded our expectations in every way. Great location, excellent host, nothing was too much trouble. Room is basically furnished but everything worked e.g , air-conditioning, wi fi etc. Good breakfast each morning tea/coffee, fresh fruit, fresh juice., omelette, toast and jam etc. Served different sri lankan specialities each day.. Coffee/tea making in room and provided towels for the beach 100m away.

Schoon, behulpzame host, heel gezellig en een fantastisch ontbijt in de mooie tuin.
Het ligt dan wel aan de spoorlijn maar er lagen oordoppen op mijn kussen en heb fantastisch geslapen. Een aanrader!!

スタッフ(やご家族)が温かくとても印象に残りました。ビーチとベントータ駅が目の前にあり、周辺の雰囲気も良かった。目の前を列車が走る風景はとてもエキサイティングな経験でした。

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Der Besitzer hat sich um alles gekümmert, eine Bootsafari für uns gebucht und den Transfer zum Flughafen organisiert. Am Abreisetag, konnten wir im schattigen Innenhof sitzen, bekamen Tee, Wasser und ein leckeres Mittagessen. Super freundlich die ganze Familie. Unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Sisi and his family run a beautiful place here. We couldn't fault anything. This has been the most comfortable clean place we have stayed at in a while. Sisi helped us book trips and took us to the shop when requested.
Air con and a fan in the room worked well.
Just across the rail track you get to the beautiful clean beach. And just down the track you will find some lovely places to eat.

Property is very good best stay location and caretaker is very good and polite
