Un bel établissement mais éloigné du centre de Funchal
Pros:

La chambre est spacieuse. On profite d’une jolie vue sur la ville. Le spa est agréable. Le petit déjeuner est varié et très bon. Le personnel est sympathique

Cons:

L’hôtel est éloigné du centre de Funchal. Il faut une voiture. L’accès est un peu difficile car très en pente et voie à sens unique.
La piscine n’est pas chauffée donc un peu froide
Les espaces communs manquent de convivialité

Nid d'aigle confortable avec superbe vue sur Funchal
Pros:

Chambre très propre, design agréable.
Piscine relativement grande, bains de soleils en nombre suffisants avec belle vue sur mer et Funchal.
Buffet du petit déjeuner de bonne qualité, choix suffisamment varié pour satisfaire tous les goûts.
La carte du restaurant est également suffisamment variée, les entrées comme les plats sont travaillés et réussis, de niveau bistronomique.

Cons:

Pas de prise en compte d'une demande de réparation ou changement du frigo minibar qui ne fonctionnait pas, c'est gênant quand on fait des randonnées.
L'emplacement de l'hôtel, trop haut perché et éloigné du centre-ville pour envisager un aller-retour à pied, l'hôtel propose une navette (3 horaires par jour), sinon prévoir taxi ou voiture de location.

Pros:

Located in Monte, this hotel perfectly combines luxury, tranquillity and outstanding service. It is particularly well suited to travellers seeking a peaceful setting away from the bustle of the city, whilst remaining only five minutes from Funchal.The facilities are excellent, including a beautiful swimming pool, a relaxing spa and a well-equipped fitness room, all maintained to a very high standard.The true measure of a quality hotel often lies in how it handles unexpected situations. During our first night, we experienced an air-conditioning issue that could not be resolved immediately. The team responded promptly by offering us an alternative room, together with a complimentary dinner in the hotel restaurant. This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated, especially as the food was of exceptional quality.

A sincere thank you to the entire Quinta Mirabela team for their warm welcome, professionalism and exceptional service throughout our stay. We recommend this hotel without hesitation. A genuine five-star experience that we would recommend 200%.

Short stay outside Funchal
Pros:

Nice boutique hotel, comfortable bed

Cons:

Remote from restaurants, cafes . On a very steep slope , so not easy to walk anywhere.
Room key refused to work every time we tried to use it, necessitated several visits to reception when we wanted to get into the room.

Small but good hotel nicely located on Funcal heights. But a bit expensive
Pros:

- Hotel is small and nicely located on the heights of Funchal providing a nice view to the port
- Breakfast is good and provided food is fine though not extravagant
- Staff is friendly
- Parking is just opposite the small and steep road. Parking limited to available places
- Terrace provides a nice view on the city

Cons:

I wouldn't consider the Quinta Mirabela as a 5* venue but rather a good 4*
- Reception desk often closed
- Room too small for this hotel category
- Prices are a bit high

Pros:

Das Hotel liegt in einer schönen Lage oberhalb von Funchal, mit dem Mietwagen sehr gut zu erreichen und verfügt über genügend Parkplätze. unser Zimmer war sehr schön, sauber, und das Frühstücksbuffet prima.

Cons:

Der Kaffee war nicht so gut, und das vegetarische Angebot auf der Karte im Restaurant sehr mager obwohl bei den Fleisch und Fischgerichten sehr viel Gemüsebeilagen aufgelistet waren, war es nicht möglich, Gemüse zu bestellen. Ich musste mit Nudeln und Sahnesosse vorlieb nehmen, während mein Partner zu seinem Gericht leckeres Gemüse bekam. Das hat mich doch recht enttäuscht
