The patio area outside our accommodations can be noisy during busy periods, this would be Friday and Saturday evenings, bank holiday weekends and holiday periods - particularly around Christmas. We do however try to clear this area completely within an hour of closing (12am)
Please note that we are a busy and well supported pub in the town center of Oundle. We have regular live music events, which can be checked via our social media pages. During busy periods our outdoor areas can get quite noisy as well. Please make sure you take this into consideration when booking with us.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

the room was very tiny - when booking it indicated double room.
It was a hot day and was quite noisy at the pub - so may be winter time is more quite.
Friendly. Great location. Single room was clean and comfortable, had all I needed. Was Friday night, noisy in the courtyard below my room. Stopped before midnight then very quiet. Not a problem for me and was clearly advised before booking it would be like that. Including simple complimentary breakfast was nice surprise.
Finding the car park behind the Inn was difficult. Need go up a side road near edge of Oundle to approach from other side. Cannot get to carpark from High St. Helpful member of staff told me to go up South Rd and turn up Ship Lane next to the vets which I then googled.

Comfortable clean room within easy reach of the town. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly.
I've stayed here before so know the room. It's basic but convenient and comfortable. Staff are lovely. It's good that breakfast is now included. I ate supper in The Ship and it was excellent
It would be good to have dairy free or vegan options for breakfast
Excellent location for the town, & great food in the Ship in the evening. Parking was very good right next to the room, but a bit tricky to find the way into the car park.

The Staff is always friendly and helpful. The place is clean and well maintained. The location is convenient.
I have stayed there before but the room that i got this time it was not as quieter as the ones before.
Breakfast was great! (Included) we appreciate that a good variety of continental breakfast was laid out even though it seemed that it was quiet. Lovely room generous offering of refreshments in the room. Comfy bed. All good.
