The patio area outside our accommodations can be noisy during busy periods, this would be Friday and Saturday evenings, bank holiday weekends and holiday periods - particularly around Christmas. We do however try to clear this area completely within an hour of closing (12am)
Please note that we are a busy and well supported pub in the town center of Oundle. We have regular live music events, which can be checked via our social media pages. During busy periods our outdoor areas can get quite noisy as well. Please make sure you take this into consideration when booking with us.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

Excellent location for the town, & great food in the Ship in the evening. Parking was very good right next to the room, but a bit tricky to find the way into the car park.

The Staff is always friendly and helpful. The place is clean and well maintained. The location is convenient.
I have stayed there before but the room that i got this time it was not as quieter as the ones before.
Breakfast was great! (Included) we appreciate that a good variety of continental breakfast was laid out even though it seemed that it was quiet. Lovely room generous offering of refreshments in the room. Comfy bed. All good.

Single bedroom looked like it hadn't been hoovered in weeks, so attracted ants. Duvet looked stained and dirty. Very little air and opening window wasn't secure.
Breakfast not great. Very limited range. Meat was warm.
No wifi as not in range the room I stayed in.
I realise that the hostelry is a public house and especially on a lovely warm evening one can expect revelry but the noise level was high into the night hours. My only reservation to the excellent review posted is disturbed rest. Nonetheless the entire experience was very good.
