Important information:

The patio area outside our accommodations can be noisy during busy periods, this would be Friday and Saturday evenings, bank holiday weekends and holiday periods - particularly around Christmas. We do however try to clear this area completely within an hour of closing (12am)

Please note that we are a busy and well supported pub in the town center of Oundle. We have regular live music events, which can be checked via our social media pages. During busy periods our outdoor areas can get quite noisy as well. Please make sure you take this into consideration when booking with us.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
A deposit may be required at the property.

A very handy and friendly inn for our overnight stay mid journey
Pros:

Characterful old inn. Evening meal and friendly staff

Cons:

Breakfast was rather rudimentary. There was no hot water in the bedroom. It was apparently a recurring problem

Lovely traditional pub in a great location with excellent food and drink
Pros:

Great location with very friendly staff. Food in the pub was excellent - we had our evening meal here. Breakfast was continetal with no other option, which was fine for us.

Cons:

Everything was great for us but its worth mentioning the pub was brilliant and very popular.

Comfortable overnight stop
Pros:

Conveniently placed, friendly, comfortable, good value.

Cons:

The windows of my first floor room opened on to the open air bar area so it was loud until 11.30pm or so. Not a problem for me, and not unreasonable as this is a pub, but wouldn’t be good for anyone wanting an early night. Though I do know other rooms open onto quieter aspects.

lovely - i would definately stay again

great location and lovely staff. The room was spotlessly clean too.
