Amazing island in the Yasewas, extremely friendly staff, lots of activities to do and white sand beaches. Rudimentary setup which is best for backpacking with private dorms available. Be aware that electricity is available only 12 hours per day and there is no alcohol for sale and the water is recycled. Food is great though!

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. There are reefs you could swim to right off the beach.

Safe landing was a beautiful family run home stay. It felt like an authentic experience and the staff did all they could to make you feel welcomed and at home. They aimed to accomodate all our needs and requests!!! The activities we did such as visiting the caves, a village church service and watching the rugby nearby were all some of our highlights of our trip to Fiji!!! The rooms were clean and food was great, amenities were limited but that is okay as they are clearly trying to grow!!

Exceptional location! Only a few guests in the lodge, nearly private beach, hut was only 5 steps away from the beach, friendly and kind staff. Had a relaxing experience, just having the basics to live and enjoy this tropical paradise. You can book some activities there (cave trip, snorkeling trip, visit the village, hiking, ...), but bring cash and don't expect Wifi or shops. But the staff will bring you to a little supermarket on another island, if you need something. Please just don't expect a resort - it is basic, but it is absolutly worth it. Would come again!

Breakfast was good (coffee/tea with fruit, cake and pancakes). Rooms are pretty big. The kids that live there are very friendly. Amazing views and beach.

Breakfast variety was great.
Location was what we wanted. No roads, no cars, only walking tracks. No internet.

I had the best time! If you want to experience the real Fiji (not the fancy resorts where you are just a number) but not ready for a homestay, this is a great place. Own by Fijians, they make you feel home. Perfect to see the caves and the blue lagoon. A special thank you to Sefo and Jo, who went an extra mile to welcome us, with a kava night with guitar in the background and taught us everything about coconut, from climbing the trees to making coconut milk.
Also, the 2 kids Caroline and Tim were so cute to play with- and they are so clever!
And the pets adopt you straight away!

I couldn't recommend enough Safe Landing. We had a fantastic time, the beach was beautiful, the staff kind and friendly. We had an awesome authentic Fijian experience here.
