The staff were friendly
The room was quite dirty and all rooms were unlocked not giving much security to your belongings if you leave for a tour, the food wasn’t very good the rice was very dry and was served everyday not giving much option for if you didn’t like the food, the windows were broken so when it rained the rain water would come in and wet our belongings also allowing bugs and insects to come in, only a thin sheet for a blanket and there was bed bugs
The staff was so nice and welcoming. The room was basic, the mattress and pillows were a little uncomfortable. The beach is beautiful but the reef is quite far out (you can go during low tide). We opted to buy the day pass to Blue Lagoon Resort and I highly recommend doing so and enjoying the day and their reef! There are a few activities you can enjoy here. The meals were enough but a little repetitive.
We loved Fiji, Rocky and Mango!
The rooms/toilets could be cleaner.
Friendly staff. It is a good location.
When I was there extremely windy which made it unpleasant. Don’t expect many things to do if you are not a snorkeller, like me. But that would be true of most of the Yasawas/
We really enjoyed the beautiful seaside location and the relaxed atmosphere of Nacula Island. All the staff were genuinely kind and accommodating, and a special mention goes to Aku, our host and activities guide, who made our stay even more enjoyable. There is a great variety of activities for different interests, and we enjoyed the village visit, which was surprisingly educational and gave us a better insight into local Fijian life and culture. Overall, it offers great value for money for travellers on a budget who still want to get the most out of their Fiji experience.
The bedding and pillows weren’t very comfortable, and the accommodation could have been cleaner.
Un sitio muy tranquilo en un auténtico paraiso
Todo fue perfecto
Great location, dorms were not bad but look nothing like the photos. They are still good beds though, and sleeping was comfortable. No chickens in the morning to wake you up was a big plus. Staff was kind and showed no signs of animal abuse like shown in other reviews and that was a huge plus. Food was tasty but small portions compared to other homestays on the yasawas. Hiking around this island was a great time. This property is good at a fair price and the owners definitely care about helping you have a nice stay.
Afslappet stemning, personalet var super søde og hjælpsomme og der var mange muligheder for aktiviteter
Det er autentisk, og man skal være til det, før det vil være en god oplevelse.
The location and the people are amazing. It’s a real Fijian experience.
The food is very repetitive (always rice). It’s not mandatory but there’s not another place to eat. The meal plan is 10$ for breakfast, 20$ lunch and 25$ dinner
Staff very friendly, easy to snorkelling and easy to hike and see the blue lagon resort side.
It’s not a resort but the bathrooms could be a little cleaner
Nothing
Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. There were very poor conditions throughout the property: the food was bad and there was often very little of it, the staff were unfriendly and incompetent, and the rooms were uncomfortable. The place was also not clean, and there was no hot water. The activities available were extremely weak and not worth it, and if the weather is bad, there is essentially nothing to do. Overall, this was far below expectations and we would not recommend it.
The location was amazing, right at the beach!!!
The staff was mostly very friendly, but sometimes a little moody
The food could have been better, but it was fine overall. The bathroom of the dorm could have been cleaner.
Absolutely fantastic location, so scenic and stunning! The staff were brilliant and friendly. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. It’s also very social with the other guests as everyone has meals together.
The island itself is absolutely beautiful, and that’s the only reason I don’t regret visiting the area. Unfortunately, the lodge and the staff did not live up to the setting. I personally would not stay here again and would recommend spending a little extra money on almost any other homestay or resort nearby.
It’s a shame to leave such a negative review, but I feel it’s important to share our experience so others know what to expect.
The biggest issue was the behavior of one of the staff members. We witnessed him throwing rocks and coconuts at a calm, harmless dog that was simply wandering around the property. When we asked why he was treating the dog that way, he just laughed. Seeing such blatant animal cruelty was upsetting and completely unacceptable.
The staff also seemed to care far more about money than their guests. There was very little genuine hospitality or human connection. From the moment we arrived, we didn’t feel welcome. In fact, the staff almost seemed disappointed that we had come.
The room itself was very basic and outdated. The foam mattresses were uncomfortable, there was almost no water pressure in the shower, and there wasn’t even a working light in the bathroom.
The food was average at best. Breakfast mainly consisted of cakes and sweet pastries, with very few proper breakfast options.
The activities were okay, but nothing special. The cave tour was definitely not worth the $140 price tag.
