Pros:

the room and bathroom seemed clean and the bed was comfortable

Cons:

It was the day of diwali, as we were traveling we checked into this hotel to take a early morning shower and visit a nearby temple. We complained about lack of hot water in the shower. They took nearly 45 minutes to fix the issue. It was precious time lost for us on the auspicious morning.

Cons:

No proper response from staff. The area and rooms wear a deserted look. I just came from New Delhi, the rooms and the place where I stayed was friendly and amicable. North people are so good, responsive , helping the South Indian people in every way possible and the location in Delhi was vivacious. I didnt like this grand padappai residency and I wouldn't recommend it .I was incorrectly charged extra 301 rs for 1(water bottle, coffee and tea) that i didn't consume. I informed the bar tender to cancel the coffee tea and provide me only the water. She didn't listen properly and provided the beverages after we vacated the room and arguing with me that it will be deducted from her salary.Finally I paid it . They are residency, luxurious grand padappai but begging for 301rs, how pathetic. Very bad experience in Chennai. I wouldn't recommend it.
